13. If I Stay

Isn't it amazing how life is one thing, and then in an instant it becomes something else? Naomi, the girl who thinks about songwriting, and Sam, and whether a email is going to come to her inbox saying she got the part in the movie she had a callback for. And just like that, the screeching of tires, the loud horn honking, and finally the collision, changes everything.

"Naomi? Naomi answer me!" Sam suddenly shouts into his side of the phone as his face goes pale as a sheet.

Everyone there for the wedding looking over at him in concern as he grips his phone so tightly his knuckles are turning white.

"Naomi? Quinn? Ms. Page? One of you answer me right now this isn't funny!" He demands as tears begin to build in his eyes.

"Sam." Mr. Shue says trying to get his attention, laying a gentle hand on the frantic boys arm, which was promptly shoved off. "Sam what happened?"

"I-I dont know. We were talking and Naomi said she was in the car with Quinn and her mom, and that they were like three minutes away, then she yelled Quinns name and there was a loud noise, almost like a crash. I think they got into a car accident and she's not answering!" Sam sobs out finally breaking before sprinting away from the room everyone following him, making their way outside.

"Please say something. Anyone." Sam begs into the phone, giving up when he can't hear anyone.

As everyone makes their way outside they immediately see four ambulances speeding past the building, making Sam and everyone else panic even more. Everyone there knew that those ambulances were for their friends.

Sam suddenly goes to run in the direction they were heading before Mr. Shue pulls him back.

"Let go of me! She needs me! She needs help!" Sam screams out frantically as he shoves Mr. Shue away with all his strength.

"Sam! They're helping her! Going there won't do anything but distract them from their jobs. The best thing you can do for her right now is meet them at the hospital!" Mr. Shue tells the sobbing boy holding him in his arms.

"Sam, sweetie. They'll be alright. Let's go to the hospital and see them there, yeah?" Mrs. Hudson tells him gently as she leads him away and to her car. Kurt, Burt, Sue and Santana rushing to get in too.

Opening her blurry eyes Naomi can just see the bright blue sky above her, the trees spreading over her view. Squinting as the light was too bright for her at the moment. Feeling the ground next to her she can feel the soft stringiness of the grass she was on along with the rough small pebbles as well.

Slowly, she turns her head to the side, wondering where she is, and how she got there. Slowly she stands up feeling dazed as she looks around at the chaos surrounding her. Multiple ambulances and people were rushing all over the place tending to people. 

"Hello?" Naomi asks confused as two EMT's run past her and don't even notice her.

"Excuse me? Sir, excuse me? Hello?" Naomi calls out even more confused and lost as she runs over to another EMT, who also promptly ignores her, before looking over towards where the group of people was, only to see Quinns car.
