Chapter 14- The Day Back

So I'm exhausted but I have to work out so there's that. :) (Up top is Veronica's school outfit)

Veronica's POV...

I woke up to the loud beeping of my alarm and yawned. I looked to my left and Jughead was still fast asleep. His hair lay messy around his face and he looked so cute while he slept.

Right now it's only 6 so I won't wake him up just yet.

I do my morning routine and pick out an outfit, then get dressed.

"Ronnie?" I hear Jug's sexy sleepy voice call me.

"Yeah?" I walk out of the bathroom and into my room.

"You're actually going to school today?" He asks and I nod.

"I told you I wanted to go and today seemed like the perfect day" I smile and he smiles back.

"Nice outfit" his eyes roam over my body head-to-toe and his gaze sent a shiver down my spine.

"Thank you" I sit on the bed next to him.

"I have to go to the trailer to get ready, but I'll be back to pick you up" he tells me while getting up.

"Okay, I'll be here" I give him a hug and he returns it.

Ugh his hugs.

He walks out the door and I occupy myself by cooking a mini breakfast. Not something too heavy, but enough to leave me satisfied until lunch.

Less than 30 minutes later there's a knock on the door and I open it to see Jughead. He's wearing a plain black hoodie, black ripped jeans, converse, and his beanie of course. He looked so good and I couldn't help but stare a bit.

"Earth to Ronnie" he waves his hand in front of my face.

"Huh?" I blush brining my gaze back to his eyes.

"I said are you ready to go?" He smiles and I nod grabbing my book bag and keys. After locking the door we head down to his motorcycle and take off to school.

As we pulled into the parking lot and  I was beyond nervous. It felt like my first day here all over again, but I'm more confident now.

"Don't be nervous Ronnie, I'm right here with you" he whispers in me ear and grabs my hand. I look up at him and he gives me a nod of reassurance. I squeeze his hand lightly and take a deep breath.

You got this Veronica, just forget everyone else and focus on you and Jughead.

"Let's go" I keep my hand in his and we walk up you the schools doors. There were stares and whispers, but no one said anything out loud. As we walked through the halls there more more people who stared, but I had Jughead's encouraging words keeping me going.

"We made it" he smiles as we reach the student lounge where all of our friends are. No sign of Betty and Archie, which is very good. Although I do have classes with them so we will run into each other eventually.

"Ronnie you're back!" Cheryl gets up and hugs me tightly.

"You saw me yesterday Cher" I laugh lightly.

"Yeah but we missed you at school" Toni chimes in and hugs me too.

"You know classes are boring as hell without you" Kevin joins in followed by Fangs and Sweet pea.

"Yea I bet" I sit down and we talk until the first bell rings signaling us to head to first period.

Science with Toni and Cheryl went quite well, it was like I hadn't missed and single class. Of course we were talking and being quite giggly in the back, but what do you expect with us three together?
