I'm moving fast and so is time. DECEMBER IS HERE!!!! FUCK YEA! Sorry December is one of my favorite months.

Veronica's POV...

So Jughead and I have been stuck in lodge lodge for 4 days. We've been having mature conversations and trying to understand the situation better. I was able to get the closure with this and it's helped me move to forgiving him more.

It's felt like we've never been separated and like our breakup never existed. Almost like we're slowly making our way back to best friends. Which I'm okay with if I'm being honest, even though he hurt me I still missed him.

I think today we're leaving since the storm has let up and the snow isn't too much. I loved the time away, but I really missed my friends so I'm happy to be going back.

"Veronica are you ready to go?" Jughead asks as he helps me put my bags in the car.

"Yes!" I shout putting on my sweater and locking the front door behind me.

Until next vacation lodge lodge.

Jughead hops on his motorcycle and I get into my car. He follows behind me as I pull out of driveway and onto the private road. I periodically glanced through the sideways mirror to see how he was doing. He seemed to be in deep thought but focused on the road. I studied his face for a few seconds and then kept my focus on the road.

The drive home was easy and since the snow let up quite a bit it was safer.

As soon as we got to the Pembrooke Jughead parked next to me and helped me bring my bags upstairs.

After that we said our goodbyes and he left.

I took a shower and watched movies until falling asleep half way through Dirty Dancing.

...

When I woke up the next morning I woke up to hushed whispers of my friends.

"Shhh let her sleep for a few more minutes" Cheryl says.

"She won't be able to sleep if you guys continue being so loud" Toni tells them.

"I'm already up" I say making them jump back in surprise.

"See I told you guys that your whispering was more shouting" Toni shakes your head.

"Good morning Ronnie, how are you feeling?" Kevin asks sitting on the bed next to me.

"I'm doing a lot better" I smile slightly.

"That's great! Get dressed, we're going to Pop's" Cheryl smiles and I quickly get up to do my morning routine.

It didn't take me long and once I get myself looking decent, I head to my closet for clothes. I picked out a simple hoodie and yoga pants. I also picked out a beanie so that my ears weren't cold. I wasn't feeling super dressy today.

"Let's go guys" I say after putting on some sneakers.

"You always manage to look so good without even trying" Kevin compliments me.

"Thank you Kev, so do you" I give him a hug and he wraps his arm around my shoulder. We walk to the car and quickly get it.

The snow had calmed down quite a bit since I got home and it's only lightly dusting the ground. It's very beautiful though, like a winter wonderland.

Once we arrived at Pop's we went to our usual booth and began chatting. There was no point in even looking at the menu since we already know what we're getting.

"So Ronnie how was it being snowed in with Jug?" Toni asks curiously.

"Honestly it was awkward and a little troubling at first. Every time I saw him it reminded me of what happened. But then we started talking and having conversations, just trying to understand each other. We explained how we felt and our perspective on the situation" I told them.
