I have a eyelash in my eye and I can't get it out. Hope you enjoy;)

-Jughead's POV-

When I woke up the sun was shining through my window and I stretched over to cuddle Veronica, but the bed was empty. I opened my eyes and remembered I slept in the trailer.

It felt weird and almost empty without her in the bed next to me.

I went to the bathroom and did my business, then took a shower. Once I got out I got dressed and texted Veronica that I'd be on my way, after picking up breakfast from Pop's.

It didn't take too long as there were barely any people in the restaurant and getting to Veronica's took even less time. After I parked my bike I quickly made my way up to Veronica's door and knocked. She came to the door quickly and smiled when she saw it was me behind it.

"It was weird without you" she closed the door behind me and I set the food on the table.

"I'm used to sleeping around you, so it was weird for me too" I tell her grabbing things out of the bag and setting the food infront of her.

"Thank you" she smiled taking a bite of her omelet.

"No problem" I smile back and begin eating too.

The morning was spent joking around and talking.

It was pretty chill, then we went on a little store run, because we were bored and had a lot of time time kill. Long story short we got kicked out, it may or may not have been my fault. After that we went for a walk around sweet water river.

It was so peaceful and serine.

"Despite the misfortunes this river has had it's still breathtaking" Veronica says, looking at the water flowing over the rocks.

"It is" I say, looking at her.

She turns to me and blushes.

I love it when I make her blush, because she always looks so cute and gets all shy.

"I think I'm ready to go back to school this week" she brings up and I raise my brows.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah, even though I'm caught up on my work and my grades are great I don't want to be home anymore. I've spent a whole year in that apartment and I'm not going to do it again over people I no longer care about" she tells me and I nod.

"I get that and just know that I'll be there by your side walking through those school doors" I let her know and she smiles.

"I wouldn't have it any other way" she lays her head on my shoulder and we just sit talking about nothing important. Moments like these with her are the best, we get to be ourselves and not worry about anyone else.

It was around 3 o'clock when Cheryl texted us that they were heading to Pop's, so Veronica and I decided to start heading there too. The ride was nice and short, we had made it there fairly quick. Everyone was waiting for us at our usual booth and had already ordered. I lead Veronica placing my hand on the small of her back as we make our way to our friends.

"Hey guys" they greet making room for us to sit down.

"Hey" we smile and sit down.

"So what have you two been up to?" Cheryl asks taking a sip of her strawberry milkshake.

"We had breakfast, had a grocery store adventure, then talked by Sweet-water River" I recap.

"That sounds nice" Kevin smiles looking at the both of us.
