❝ you're a tornado with pretty eyes and a heartbeat ❞
"Just call him." Ember urged, reaching over to grab Thea's phone. Thea rolled away from her, landing on the floor with a thud. Ember laughed at her reaching over to offer her a hand. Thea pouted from where she had fallen, although she reached over to lace her fingers through Ember's.
"C'mon. He's gonna appreciate it." Ember said once Thea had gotten comfortable, muttering a small 'I hope so' at the end. Thea narrowed her eyes at the phone, fingers hovering over the dial button.
"I don't want to be a bother." she fidgeted, placing her phone back on the table. "I already made him tutor me this morning." she weakly replied even though she was tempted to give him a ring.
Ember groaned, moving over to lay on her back. "You know he won't think that. He adores you." she insisted, smirking at Thea's blushing face.
"You don't know that." Thea continued, turning away from her phone. She'd call him tomorrow.
"So what do you want to do?". Thea offered, laying alongside her successfully changing the topic. Ember shrugged her shoulders before she suddenly rose to yell for her younger brother.
They were at Ember's house for the afternoon to 'have fun' as she had described. Although all they had done since they had arrived was sit down, eat a bag of Cheerios and talk about Thea's unwillingness to check up on Adonis.
Thea stared at her phone as guilt coursed through her stomach. Did he want her to call him?. She reached for her phone, but stopped once she remembered he could be busy. He did have a 4-year-old brother to look after.
"What do you want?". Jude asked as he made his way to the threshold head in his phone. "Hey, Thea." he smiled once he saw her. Thea smiled at him in greeting, leaning back on the bed's headrest.
"Yeah, yeah. What's the place you got the dessert pizza at last week?". Ember asked, moving off the bed to put on her doc's.
"Uh, it's the store across the train station. Joe's Creamery." Jude replied, still staring at Thea. Thea weakly smiled back at him going on her phone as she aimlessly scrolled through Pinterest.
"Thanks. She's got a boyfriend by the way." Ember mentioned, slamming her door shut. Thea blushed although she never lifted her head from the screen she was staring at.
She didn't know Jude very well; this was the second time she had met him and his stares always made her uncomfortable. After the incident, she had become very fidgety with men. She wasn't necessarily scared of them but always kept her distance.
Except for Adonis, her subconscious reminded.
"C'mon let's go, "Ember called from her bathroom where she was busy touching up her makeup. Thea didn't know why Ember wore makeup. She was beautiful without it.
"It's raining outside so you can borrow one of my jackets ."Ember offered, giving her a brown North Face puffer jacket. Thea slipped it on and it surprisingly matched with her crème jeans. She pouted as the sleeves rolled past her wrists.
Huffing in frustration, she tugged them back up only for them to fall back down. Ember laughed at her misfortune slipping on her leather jacket.
"C'mon we've got pizzas to eat".

"B-but you punched him, "Onyx whined, trying to get Adonis to understand.
