It's Over, and So Are We

Four

It was kinda sad because the world tour to all around Asian's countries had to happened right after they decided to date. Three months. That's how long they have been separated but, guess what, at least the wait is over now. Jisoo turns on her phone right after the plane landed safely in Seoul. One text message from 'Superman' pops up.

Welcome home, Love. Let me know when you're about to arrive here. I'm waiting.

Hell, no. She will just come to Haein's apartement without notification and surprise him.

"Look at you all smiley..." Jennie, who sits beside her, can only shakes her head in atonishment.

Jisoo just giggles. "I've been spending so much time with you guys. Let me just be happy to finally meet my man, alright?"

Lisa and Rose seem to have heard their conversation. They both sit in front of Jisoo and Jennie.

"Chaeyoung-ah, help. I feel like I'm about to sneeze!" Lisa says to Rose.

"Why, Lisa?" Rose responds

"There is love in the air. You know how I'm allergic to it, right?"

The four of them laugh hard.

Jisoo stands up to get her luggage in the cabin. "Lisa-ya, go find your own Mr. Right, then you won't be allergic anymore."

"Aaahh Eonnie I'm jealous! Can't you join us for lunch first, at least?" Lisa tries to bargain.

"Nope. You guys can eat anywhere you want but drop me off at my Oppa's place first."

"Oh so you can eat him?" says Jennie.

They laugh again, even harder this time, except Jisoo doesn't join in.

Jisoo waits excitedly after she rang the doorbell. Her favorite voice, which she always listens to every night, comes out from the speaker.

"Yaa! Why are you already here?"

He sounds kinda surprised and about to burst out laughter at the same time. Jisoo loves that reaction. It's as she has expected.

'"Oppa hurry open up!"

"Wait..."

It takes him a few minutes until that door finally opened. Jisoo gets inside and take a deep glance at Haein, who is nervously rubbing his own nape.

"I just took a shower and haven't even dressed properly... Sorry."

A white jersey, a short pants, with his half-wet hair and sweet soap smell. He is so adorable and in Jisoo's eyes he looks like a big baby now.

"Oppa, when did your hair grow so much?" She wipes the hair on Haein's forehead that almost looks like a bang. "Ah, it's a lost for me. I must have missed a lot a few months back."

Haein smiles brightly. "You got really covered up." He pats Jisoo's back.

"Yeah!" Jisoo takes off her beannie and face mask. "I need to dressed up like this, you know. I have to make sure no one notice me."

"Now that looks so much better," he says before kissing her forehead as a reply. "My pretty Sooyaa."

For a while, there's only silence and intense gaze between them. Then, they kiss. Passionately. Haein slowly pushes Jisoo to the wall behind her, but still takes care of her by covering Jisoo's head with his big hand. He goes for her heart-shaped lips, then to the tip of her nose, then her cheek. Their forehead is still connected as they catch their breath.

"I miss you" Haein whispers.

"I'm here already" Jisoo puts her arms around his shoulders.

"I still miss you."

"Then I'll stay here as long as I can" She gives Haein a tight hug.

The TV is on. They play one of Jisoo's favorite Disney movie as she requested, but it is now more like a background noise because Jisoo can't seem to stop talking about Blackpink world tour.

"The tour in Bangkok, as always, is the most exciting one. It's Lisa's hometown, afterall. We were really glad it ended up well, despite all the things happened before."

Haein pats Jisoo's head. "You did well."

Jisoo suddenly shuts her mouth. "I did it again, didn't I? I talk too much. Sorry, Oppa."

"Why are you sorry? You're really funny" Haein laughs. "I love to hear you talking. Keep going."

"I'm afraid you will get bored," she lays her head on Haein's shoulder. "Besides, I want to hear from you too."

"We talk everyday, Love. It's as I've told you yesterday. Currently I'm preparing to shoot for another drama. The shoot for the previous one is over and it will be aired second half of this year."

"The military one?" She suddenly sits straight. "Then you will soon cut your hair short again. I'll miss this bang."

Haein grabs Jisoo's hand that has been touching his hair, then kiss it. "You will be preparing your solo soon, right?"

"Right..." they hold hands. "I'm really nervous, actually. Since it will be me only. Singing and dancing alone without my members. Gosh, those girls. How do they even did it? They did really well it gives me pressure!"

Haein snuffles, he almost laughs. "You will do well too. I'm sure of it. And you won't be doing it alone. You have many people supporting you, including me."

The fact that Jisoo and Haein will still be dating in secret on her solo era later somehow makes her a bit sad.

"Oppa... I can't even invite you to watch my first solo performance directly."

"You can just imagine me cheering for you in the crowd" Haein tries joking to comfort her, but he fails.

"I don't like it." She stares at him with serious look on her face. "Until when should we keep our relationship as secret? I want to invite you to my concert. I want to go on a date with you in public place. I want to be with you without having to worry."

"Jisoo-ya.." Haein grabs both of Jisoo's shoulders. "Later, okay? I promise we can do it all when the right time comes. Next will be your critical step. You will have your own solo song. I want you to focus on this. I don't want my presence to ruin it."

"You're not ruining me." Jisoo's voice sounds weak.

"I know, Love." He hugs her. "Be patient. Just remember I will always support you, even though at times I can't show it directly."

Jisoo doesn't say anything back. This situation is complicated and she feels a bit conflicted. Her solo era and Haein. Both are as important and she still thinks that she can maximaze at both. But at the moment, she chooses to follow what Haein wants. To keep their little own world in private.
