So its been around 2 weeks since I signed the contract and its now Thursday AKA the day I get announced as the Williams driver for 2022 and its safe to say I'm both excited and a nervous wreck.

SKIP TO F1 PRESS CONFERENCE
"Thank you Christian and Guenther. Our next team principal pairing will be Jost Capito and Toto Wolff" the press conference coordinator says as Toto and Jost walk to two seats that are behind the mics.
"Toto how do you feel going into this race weekend given the incident at Monza two weeks ago?" A journalist asks Toto.
Toto answers then the press conference goes on for a little while then a journalist asks Jost a question that peaks my interest.
"This is a question for Jost, what made you choose Sophie to become the second driver in your lineup for the 2022 season over other drivers like Alex Albon and Nico Hulkenberg for example?
"Well we have been keeping track of Sophie's career so far and we have been thoroughly impressed and we spoke to Toto and the Mercedes management about having her drive for us for next season and we discussed with Sophie at the last GP and things just snowballed and here we are and we could not be more happy with having Sophie as part of our team next year.
"Toto what is your reaction to the news of Sophie joining Williams for next season?" another journalist asks
"Well we have been looking at many options for Sophie for getting a seat next year and we decided that Williams would be the best place and we have seen over the last 3 seasons how well the Williams team have worked with George and how he excelled with them so we came into contact with Jost and he was already on board with taking Sophie and here we are and hopefully in a few seasons we will see Sophie driving under the Mercedes team name." Toto replies enthusiastically
