Shopping with Vi went smoothly, she was talking about some big surprise that no one could know about. She didn't tell Lux what it was, but she was going on and on about it. Maybe Vi was even a little nervous. Lux just reassured her, not even knowing what she was reassuring. Besides that, when they got back, Jinx seemed to have been busy. She even willingly spoke with and apologized to Caitlyn, which is major progress. And now, they were partially moving in, which Lux was actually really excited about. They'd not only have an actual house to stay in, but Lux would basically be living with her friends, and she could go socialize any time. One of her favorite parts about it? Knowing that nights Caitlyn and Vi were out late, her and Jinx could do whatever they wanted as loudly as they wanted.

Unfortunately for both of them, the kissing that Lux and Jinx had started behind the locked door was interrupted by Vi banging on it. Thankfully, there was no clothes that had to be put back on.
"Hey powder-" she knocked
"Wait...why is it locked?" Vi questioned aggressively twisting at the knob. Jinx grumbled, stood up from Lux, who was equally as dissatisfied, and stomped over to the door.
"What?" She growled cracking the door open
"Why can't you open this up? Whatcha doin in here you don't want someone to walk in on?" Vi grinned, pushing the door open completely. The only thing was Lux sat on the bed, nothing to make it look bad.
"Hey Lux whatcha' do'in with my sister in here" she smirked, leaning on the door open door in front of Jinx, who looked pretty pissed
"Just talking?" What a great lie, she even made it sound suspicious.
"With a locked door?"
"Yes Vi, talking, what do you want?" Jinx groaned
"Just askin where you're staying tonight"
"My hideout"
"Smart, you and her obviously need some privacy" vi laughed as she was pushed out of the door, which locked the minute it was closed.
"She's so annoying" Jinx pouted flopping back down on to the bed next to Lux.
"She does have bad timing"
"Mh" Jinx mumbled into the mattress. Lux lay backwards and stared at Jinx's face. It was so nice being with her. Running away was the best decision ever. Nothing could have gone better, she got the perfect girlfriend who loved as much as she loved her, and was best friends with the sheriff, plus her girlfriend. There really wasn't much more Lux could think of new things she really wanted, but there was one that immediately came to mind. Making Jinx feel good. But Lux knew she wouldn't have that kind of confidence for a long time. Besides she didn't even know if Jinx was up for that kind of stuff. Lux didn't even know how to do that anyways.

They didn't get back to the hideout till later on, after spending a good hour just chatting while laying together, then having to escape Caitlyn's without being sucked into a conversation. Jinx immediately crashed down onto the couch, probably worn out from all the interacting with Vi and Caitlyn. Lux followed behind, let herself get pulled into Jinx.

"We should do a little something tomorrow"
"Like what?" Lux asked
"We could get you that shooting practice, then go shoot some dudes" jinx chuckled swirling her finger on the back of Lux's neck.
"What dudes?"
"Mm..people I have beef with"
"Will I be killing anyone?"
"Only if you want'a"
"Hm, probably not then, I'll still come with though"
"Figures blondie" Jinx's smile was nearly audible. Lux felt a soft kiss on the back of her neck, then a head tucking into it.
"tired?" Lux asked
"Mhm, but I can wake up if you need somethin'"
Of course she said need
"You should get rest if you're that tired"
"I'll try, you should too, we can get up early okay?"
"Mhm, goodnight Jinx"
"Night Luxy"

OKAY SORRY FOR ULTRA SHORT CHAPTER BUT I GOT SOME ANNOUNCEMENTS REAL QUICK.
The next chapter will skip till Christmas as we are in fact nearing the end. I've already got the next few, aka the last, chapters plotted out, so yay :))
Obviously there isn't all the much left to cover in this fic, buuuuuuuut as soon as this finishes I'm going to start writing the next one, which is gonna be super cool and awesome. I've even got it planned out on Notes 😎
Also Elliot is scrapped, you'll never see his name again lmao.

My excuse for this insanely short chapter? I want to go to bed early lmao
