Christmas Morning

As much as Lux wanted to mess around with her, Jinx told her that if Santa heard them they'd never get presents again. It was funny enough to satisfy her, and with that she was able to fall asleep being held in jinx's arms. Though It did take a little while, because of her excitement for the following day. Jinx seemed pretty excited for it too, mainly the present part. She yapped about how cool the morning would be for a good bit while laying in bed. She seemed especially happy about whatever she got for Caitlyn. It sounded more like a funny gift than a good gift, but she assured Lux it would work. She got a good 9 hours of sleep, having to wake up at 8am, by Jinx of course, who was bouncing up and down with excitement
"Come on! We have to make sure Caitlyn's awake!"
"I'm sure she is" Lux mumbled into the pillow, ignoring Jinx's pulling on her shoulder
"If she is then we can eat! Jus' get up!" She whined
"You can go down, I'll join you guys in a little"
...
"I'll make ya a deal if you come with me now"
"And what's that?"
Through her squinted eyes Lux could make out a grin growing on Jinx's face.
"We can do whatever you want t'night"
That...sounded like a really good deal. The possibility's would be endless, but there was one issue.
"Won't Caitlyn and Vi be here?"
"What's that matter? Oh wait, we're you thinking of something loud?" Jinx teased. She always did that when Lux brought up the subject.
"You have a deal, I'll think about what I want to do"
"I'm sure it'll take so much thought"
Lux sighed and sat up, rubbing her eyes a little. As much as she wanted to sleep longer, she couldn't pass up a deal like that. In honesty, she knew exactly what she wanted. Try doing what Jinx always did to her, to Jinx. They'd done it enough times for her to know in general what to do. The only thing stopping her was the thought of Jinx being totally against it. But, now she had a shot.
"Okay! Lets go!" Jinx beamed tugging Lux out of the bed.
"Alright," Lux giggled following her out the door, being pulled by the hand. Jinx nearly kicked down the door of Caitlyn and Vi's bedroom while rushing in. Caitlyn was no where in sight, but Vi was. She lay face down on the pillow, but not even that masked her snores. Thankfully she was back up, because she appeared to not be wearing a top. Just a tattooed back with a lot of muscle. Jinx just made a 'bleh' sound, tugged Lux out, and slammed the door. Which probably woke Vi up. Immediately after the door was slammed, Jinx dashed down the hall, Lux in hand, and down the stairs. The smell of sweet foods filled Lux's nose. Whatever Caitlyn was making, it was going to be good. Jinx almost slipped and fell as she came to a quick stop on the kitchen, luckily Lux wasn't wearing socks, so she was able to catch Jinx.
"Careful Jinx!" Lux grimaced pulling Jinx up to stabilize her
"Thanks Blondie" Jinx sheepishly smiled at Lux. She was seriously going to get herself killed by running with socks on.
"Good morning" Caitlyn said staring at them, having watched that whole thing unfold
"Ah, good morning Caitlyn" Lux smiled walking over to the island, Jinx following beside her.
"Hey" jinx greeted giving a little wave at Caitlyn, their relationship was definitely improving. It was nice seeing Jinx be the one to say hey first.
"Good morning Jinx" Caitlyn smiled frying a crepe.
"Why is that pancake so thin?" Jinx asked staring at the cooking batter
"It's a crepe" Caitlyn chuckled
"A crap?"
"Crepe"
"Oh a crap! Looks good!"
Caitlyn sighed and looked to Lux, a more reliable source to ask
"Do you know if Vi is up?"
"Maybe, Jinx was slamming doors, that might've woken her"
"Hm, probably. Jinx, let her know breakfast is ready"
"Why me?! She's your girlfriend!"
"She's your sister"
"Fine." Jinx grumbled stomping out of the kitchen. Lux finally turned her attention to what was around the kitchen. Bowls of fruit lay on the counter along with chocolate spread and whip cream. It was totally worth getting up early for. 
"Excited for today?" Caitlyn asked adding the last crepe to the pan
"Mhm, Jinx seems really excited about whatever she got you"
"I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a powder bomb"
"Im sure it's something nice, she has been warming up to you"
"She has, but I doubt she'd pass up the opportunity"
"Maybe" Lux chuckled
Before anyone could say anything there was a loud crash followed by yelling from the upstairs. Maybe Caitlyn should have gone instead of Jinx.
"Lux!" She heard her name yelled from upstairs, sounding distressed. Lux didn't want to of up there and get tangled in whatever mess Jinx was in, so she just peeled out of the kitchen, seeing Jinx dart down there stairs, throwing her socks off as she did. At least she was taking safety precautions.
"Help!" Jinx yelled running towards the kitchen, followed by Vi, who wore sleep pants and a white t-shirt, she must have put it on after the door slammed. While Jinx was running and screaming for her life, Vi was grinning and laughing chasing after her sister.
"Lux!" Jinx screamed pulling Lux in front of her as a shield
"She's trying to kill me!"
"It's just a little Christmas hug Powder!" Vi grinned slowly approaching. Jinx must have noticed Lux's hesitation because she knew exactly what to say
"The deals off if you let her get me!"
"Hey that's not fair!" Lux complained, now trying to shield Jinx
"But it works!"
"Fine!" Lux giggled quickly pulling Jinx past Vi before she could react
"Aw come on Lux!" Vi groaned chasing after them. Out of the corner of Lux's eye she could see Jinx flipping vi off as they jogged up the stairs, make her laugh even harder
"Lux go in there then we trap her!" Jinx whispered loud enough Lux to hear through the running and laughing. As soon as they reached Caitlyn and Vi's bedroom door they ran in, vi following behind. They made a loop, running over the bed, Lux quickly shutting the door as they ran out, trapping Vi.
"Go hide! I'll hold it!"
"Thanks blondie!" Jinx waved dashing away. Lux then felt Vi ran into the door. It took all her strength to keep it closed with just the first hit. Lux was strong, but not that strong. At the second hit, Lix gave in and let it swing open.
"Nice try Lux!" Vi grinned before rushing back down the stairs to search for Jinx. Lux chuckled to herself and stepped into her and Jinx's room.
"She went down stairs" Lux smiled ducking to look under the bed where Jinx had crawled under.
"Thanks for the help Luxy!" She grinned crawling out from under the bed
"I bet Caitlyn can get her to stop" Lux giggled helping Jinx up
"Good idea, let's get to her quick!"
"Try to be quiet if you want to steer clear of Vi"
"I know!" She whispered, pulling Lux out of the bedroom. They quietly made their way down the stairs, keeping an eye out for Vi. Luckily they made it to Caitlyn without issue, it sounded like vi was looking around the library.
"Caitlyn you gotta help!" Jinx whined
"You're the only one who can make Vi stop!" She added
"And why would I do that?"
"Cause you're nice?"
"Nice and?"
"Nice and cool?"
"Good enough" she sighed
"Vi! Leave your sister alone!"
...
"Or what?!" Vi yelled from the other room, her voice sounding like it was approaching
"Or you don't get presents!"
"Demon woman!" Vi grumbled entering the kitchen
"Your sister called me nice and cool"
Vi's attention snapped to Jinx
"Aww you did? That's so sweet!"
"Shut up, I had to!"
"Mhm" vi hummed
Jinx looked like she was ready to bite Vi, but Caitlyn quickly made sure the tension didn't elevate.
"Go sit down, or there will be no breakfast"
Jinx gave Vi a little smirk, which seemed to annoy her, but she took a seat without a word. Jinx and Lux followed, sitting in their usual seats next to each other. Caitlyn then brought the food over, bowls of strawberries, bananas, different assortments of berries, along with the chocolate spread and whip cream. Jinx's mouth looked like it was watering at the food, even though she was probably completely clueless on how to eat it. Lux giggled watching Jinx try to observe what Caitlyn did, and still failing.
"Do you want help Jinx?"
"No! I got it!" She grumbled trying not to rip the crepe as she spread chocolate around it
"Just let me help" Lux chucked sliding Jinx's plate over to herself, using her own knife to evenly spread the chocolate.
"I could've done it myself" she pouted taking her plate back
"Now you put fruit on it, then fold it, then whip cream"
...
"I knew that" she grunted placing strawberries around the spread.
"Right"

Jinx did eventually finish preparing her crepe, and ate it in a fraction of the time it took to ready. She definitely was enjoying it because by the time she finished the first one, her face was covered in a chocolate whip cream mixture. She didn't even care to wipe it off before preparing and eating a second, in half the time she did before, scarfing it down like a dog. Even Vi had the mixture piling up on her face, eating almost as sloppily as Jinx was.  As everyone started to fill up, the talk of presents grew. Even Caitlyn seemed excited, she too apparently had some big gift. By the end of breakfast, everyone was ready to get on with it.
