Chapter 18: Parenting Tips With the Parker.

(Y/N) POV

I was getting ready to visit my dad after 11 years and hopefully my mom and my biological siblings. Ryuko and Lola are also coming with me to meet my family. Even though yesterday I got back to beacon safe from The Sinister Eight, or at least The Sinister Seven now sense Vulture is...dead. And also I've been avoiding Yang for almost the whole day. I don't think I can approach her or at least try to explain my hero's life. So once I was ready, I turn to Ryuko and Lola and asked,

(Y/N): So are you two ready to go to see my... family?

Ryuko: Yeah.

Lola: Am I going to see grandpa and grandma?

(Y/N): Yes you are and-

Before I could finish his sentence, We all could hear a knock on the door. Then we heard a familiar voice.

??? on the other side of the door: (Y/N)! We really need to talk!

After hearing the voice, I easily recognize the voice.

(Y/N): Yang.

Before I could make my way to the window, Ryuko grabbed the back of my jacket and held on tight.

Ryuko: You still haven't talked to Yang?

Ryuko made me turn around and face her.

(Y/N): Well can you blame me. She's most likely mad at me.

Ryuko: Come on, it can't be that bad.

Yang on the other side of the door: *Bang, Bang, Bang* (Y/N) if you keep avoiding me, then I have no choice but to break this door down along with every bone in your body.

I looked at Ryuko and swung my arms to the door, proving my point.

Ryuko: Ok maybe she's mad at you for avoiding her. I mean I would be too. Look, just go talk to her and get it over with. Your parents can wait a bit longer, or at least your dad.

I thought about it and Ryuko got a point...again.

(Y/N): *sigh* You always find a way to get in my head.

Ryuko: And don't forget it. Now go talk to Yang.

I nodded and made my way to the door. I hesitated at first, but I opened the door to see Yang looking angry with her hair glowing yellow and her eyes red as ever.

(Y/N): So...how much do you want to know?

Yang closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm down. Her hair went back to normal blond hair and when she opened her eyes, they were back to normal.

Yang: I just want to know why you kept it a secret? Especially the people who are close to you?

I walked out of the room and closed the door behind me and responded.

(Y/N): I would love to, it's just if my enemies find out who I am close to, then they will become a target. So in a way I am protecting the people I care about. Expecelly Ruby. I know she can fight, but my enemies are far more dangerous than grimm. Well except for Mysterio, he is just a guy with green smoke and a fish bowl for a helmet.

Yang thought about what I said. Once she thought about it, she seemed to understand. Then she responded.

Yang: I guess that's fair. But you think you can tell Ruby who you are.
