Chapter 20: Daring To Chalage A Hybrid

Mako stands there confused on what Hybrid wants to talk about.

Mako: I'm sorry, our what?

Hybrid: Your bond. How is it?

Mako thought about it for a bit then responded.

Mako: I say we're pretty good.

Hybrid: Is that your opinion or what you think?

Mako: It's my opinion, you know. Venom and I have been talking and hanging out. if that's what you're looking for?

Hybrid: Well not what I am looking for, but it's a start.

Hybrid began to stand up and walked around the desk to the front then sat on top of it. Mako steps back and notices that Hybrid was not wearing any shoes but instead it was bandages around part of her feets. But it wasn't enough to cover her entire feets. Hybrid take notice and jokingly say.

Hybrid: I didn't know you began to take interest in feet.

Mako: *Blush* W-what! No, No, I was just. Well, why aren't you wearing any shoes or even socks you know?

Hybrid: *Deep breath* Well, where I'm from. Shoes and socks weren't around and basically went extinct. And once I was walking around barefoot for some time, I eventually got used to it. But my feets have begun bleeding. But luckily I found some bandages and used them as shoes in a way. Not the best, but it will do just fine.

Mako: Ouch.

Hybrid: Yeah. But eventually my feets are fine as you can see.

Mako: But wait. First, where did you come from where shoes don't exist. And second, why don't you just buy yourself some shoes.

Hybrid: Well to your second question. Walking around barefoot became who I am. And I never bother to get myself some shoes, you know. But for your first.

Hybrid hopped off the desk and began to walk around Mako.

Hybrid: Where I'm from. Is where you or anybody else will not be visiting. I'm from a place where I am the only human alive.

Mako: The only human?

Hybrid: Yes.

Mako: But what do you mean by that?

Hybrid: That's not importing right now. What's truly important is your bond with Venom needs some improvements.

Mako: What does that supposed to mean?

Hybrid stopped walking around Mako and stood in front of her. Then Hybrid turns to face Mako and responds.

Hybrid: What I mean is your bond is not fully...there yet.

Mako stared at Hybrid with a questionable look then said.

Mako: But, me and Venom have started to bond and become close friends. Soooooo, I think we were there.

Hybrid: Hmmm, And how can you prove this?

Mako: Well we can....

Venom in Mako Thoughts: Fight.

Mako: Wait what.

Hybrid: What did Venom say?

Mako: Uhhhhh, one second.

Mako turns around facing her back towards Hybrid and whispers to Venom.

Mako: *Whisper* What do you mean?
