Prologue 3: When Things Couldn't Get Worse

(N/A/N): Jesus this took a little longer to make then I was expecting to be. There so many changes in this Prologue that at the point I finally got it. So anyway, here's the third Prologue and enjoy.

(Y/N) POV 9 Years and 11 Months old

It has been 1 year and 4 months with the Rose family and it was fun. When I first got here, I met more of the family. They're was Tai my adoptive Father, Raven my adoptive Aunt, Qrow my adoptive Uncle, and Zwei the family dog. They're really nice once you know them, like Tai and Yang bad puns, Summer teaching me how to cook, Raven telling stories, Qrow is an uncle I could look up to, And Ruby being the adorable sister she is. At first I was scared, but know I feel safe here with my new family. Until something happen. Let me explain, I was in the living room with Ruby and Uncle Qrow were hanging out watching (F/T/S) (N/A/N: Favorite T.V. Show) and talked. Qrow Is watching over me and Ruby while the others went out hiking. Reason why is because Qrow is not much an outdoor person unless he needs to get a drink at a bar, for me and Ruby we like to stay with Qrow, because he's awesome. A few hours had passed, it was around 6:30 usually the others should be back by know. Qrow got a text from Tai saying they saw a person in trouble so they decided to help them and they might be a little late. So Qrow made dinner for all three of us so we won't have to wait for Summer to make dinner. his cooking is not bad, not good, but it's in the middle. An hour has passed and we are still waiting for the others to be back soon. Ruby went to bed and Qrow went out to get a drink at a bar so he'll be back after the others. So I was the only one to be awake watching (F/T/S) staying up a little late, but if I feel sleepy I'll go straight to bed. 30 minutes went by and I was going to pass out. I turn off the T.V. and began to walk to my room. As I walked I heard the door open. I turn to face the door and I saw Tai, Raven, Summer, and Yang came back from there hiking. They looked angry, probably to see me still awake at this time. It was 8:00 at night, I then said a word.

(Y/N): Sorry if I'm up this late, I will go to bed and-

Before I could finish my sentence, Tai punch me square in the face. I fall to the ground with blood coming out of my nose. I struggle to get up, but someone pinned me down to the ground preventing me to get up. I look over the best I can to see Raven using her right foot to pinned me down. I struggle to get up, but I am failing miserably. The more I struggle the more that Raven pushing me down harder, hurting my back.

Tai: Yang told me you have broken a family heirlooms. Did you!?

I didn't understand why, but I know well I wouldn't do such a thing. I heard Yang giggling making me known she is lying.

(Y/N): I didn't break anything I-

Tai kick me in my face, my nose is bleeding badly. Some of it splattered on the floor.

Summer: You got blood on the floor dirty you shithead!

Before anything happens I heard Qrow voice.

Qrow: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING!?!

I felt Raven removing her foot off of my back. I got up and ran to my room. As I was running to my room I heard Qrow arguing to the others. Why did they lash out like that, why did Yang lie, how did this even happen? I got to my room and go to a corner of the room. I slide down off the wall to the ground than I curl up into a ball and I began to cry. A couple minutes has passed, I'm slowly stop crying then I heard the door to my room open. I looked up to see Qrow looking worried. He walked up to me and to see if I'm alright. When he got close and hunch down, I give him a hug quickly as I could. I hold onto him never letting go no matter what. I felt Qrow returning the hug and I hear Qrow began to cry softly.

Qrow: K-kid, what happened?

I didn't want to answer, it hurt to remember what happened.

Qrow: Please kid I won't get mad at you. So please, talk to me.
