A Spider That Once Was A Rose (Slow Update)

Happy Hallow-Birthday Ruby!

(N/A/N): Hello everyone and welcome back to another holiday story. This might be my last one, unless there's one I miss, but this might be the last one. I was going to make this last year before the Christmas short I made, but I was late. Anyway Enjoy.)

(Y/N) 8 year old POV

Today is Halloween, the scariest time of the year. But this Halloween is a very special day. Because it's also Ruby's 7th Birthday. When I woke up, I saw Yang was in my room. I asked why she was in my room, and she said that today is not just Halloween, but also Ruby's birthday and asked if I could help out decorate the house. And so here we are just finishing up the decorations.

Tai: That looks great everyone. Ruby will love this.

Summer: I'll have to agree. Our little red will be so happy.

Qrow: She's always happy no matter what we do for her.

Yang and (Y/N): Ruby's going to be excited.

Raven: I think it should be a little spooky.

We all turn to Raven confused.

Raven: What? It's Halloween as well, Why not?

Before Tai could say something, we heard some footsteps coming from upstairs. Then we all knew that Ruby is awake and she is making her way down the stairs. We all hid in our spots to surprise Ruby.

No One POV

The young little Ruby slowly got up and rubbed her eyes. She was still sleepy and wanted to go to bed, but she wanted some breakfast. She hopped off the bed and began to make her way to the kitchen. As she walked out of her room, she heard her family talking about something. As Ruby got closer to the stairs, her family stopped talking. She decided to walk down the stairs to see what her family is doing. As she walked down the stairs, she saw the living room was empty and the light's were out. When Ruby made it to the bottom of the stairs, she could barely see Zwei.

Ruby: Zwei? What are you doing here in the dark?

Before Ruby could walked up to Zwei, the lights turn on and her family jump out of nowhere and scream loudly,

Everyone except Ruby: SURPRISE!!! HAPPY HALLOW-BIRTHDAY RUBY!!!

Ruby is vary surprise and excited that today is her Birthday

Ruby: It's my birthday! Yay!

Everyone hugged Ruby and began to celebrate her birthday.

*TimeSkip 7:00 P.M*

Tai and Summer took the three kids to go trick treating and all five of them are in their Halloween costumes. Ruby in a Chocolate Chip Cookie. (N/A/N: I'm going to get lots of comments about Ruby should've worn a Red Riding hood costume huh?...*A long deep Sigh* Welp, There's no backing out now.) Yang is dressed up as Zombie, (Y/N) dressed as Spider-Man. Summer, dressed up as a witch and Tai is dressed up as a werewolf. Qrow and Raven decided to stay home to chill instead go with the others. Even though the small island of Patch is not big enough for a big town, but big enough for a small town and some families houses that live on the island.

(Y/N) POV

After what feels like a long triker treating, the four Me, Tai, Summer, Yang, and Ruby went to the small town in Patch for Ruby's Birthday. Summer and I went to one of the stores while Tai, Yang, and Ruby went to a different store. Me and Summer looked around at a Aisle full of toys, then Summer asked me.

Summer: So what do you want to get for Ruby?

(Y/N): I don't know. There are a lot of toys to choses.
