Chapter 15

Hope and Josie return home on the 29th and are greeted by Lizzie and Penelope standing on the front steps.

"I'm sorry, I love you both so much." Josie says crying into Lizzie's shoulder while hugging both her and Penelope tightly.

"We love you too, and don't be sorry, just talk to us next time." Penelope says hugging Josie back.

"I will. I won't pull away again."

Hope watches them from besides the car with her bag in hand and a smile on her face. They all go inside after a little bit, Penelope and Lizzie staying as close to Josie as possible. They'd missed being near her. With the babies all asleep for their afternoon naps the four mothers settled in their room with baby monitors and they cuddled together just enjoying being together again. Eloise was the first to wake up and Hope left to get her leaving her mates to stay cozy in bed.

"Hi my sweet girl! I missed you so so much!" Hope says when she walks up to Eloise's crib where the little one is standing and reaching for her momma. "Did you have a good nap?" Hope asks picking Eloise up, to which she responds by laying her head down on Hope's shoulder and holding tightly to her shirt, clenching the material in a small fist. Hope decides on sitting in the rocking chair that resides in the corner of the room where she just holds Eloise until said little one wakes up more and starts to wiggle to get down. They both move to the floor where they play together till Josie, Penelope, and Lizzie appear at the door with Stella and Luna.

"Hi loves, we didn't wake the twins did we?" Hope looks up from where she is playing with Eloise.

"You didn't, it was time for them to wake up so they'll sleep tonight." Lizzie answers.

"Hey sweetie, do you want to get get your after nap snack?" Josie asks squatting down next to Eloise just to be tackled to the ground with a big hug.

"Mama!" Eloise shouts as she hugs Josie.

"I missed you too, sweetie." Josie hugs Eloise back before standing up and putting her on her hip.

Once school starts back up Hope doesn't let it or their busy lives get in the way of making sure her and Josie get some one on one time at least twice a week. With everything going on time passes quite fast once again. Before they know it it is Penelope's and then the twin's birthdays.

Saturday March 15th, 2031

Taking it easy this year the twins just wanted a day at home with the family and dinner later with their parents joining. With all three babies now mobile it wasn't too relaxing, but they would t wish for it to be any different. Josie snuck off to the bathroom during the day while her mates and babies were all occupied, she wasn't sure and she didn't want to get her hopes up. She sat in the bathroom and took the test and waited. Her hands were shaking when the timer went off, it was time to check. Carefully she picks it up, not looking at the small window yet she holds it in her hands and takes a deep breath. Opening her eyes she looks down and screams as tears start falling. Positive!

"What's going on? Are you hurt?" Hope busts into the bathroom mere seconds after Josie had screamed with Lizzie and Penelope holding the babies behind her.

"I'm not hurt, I'm pregnant!" Josie jumps into Hope's arms still holding the test, she pulls out of the hug briefly to show her the test before they hug again. They decide to not tell Caroline and Alaric or anyone else till after her first appointment, but that doesn't stop them from celebrating a little bit before dinner that night.

Hope and Josie went to her first appointment a week after where they discovered that Josie was expecting twins and is 8 weeks along and both are babies are healthy. Its another week later that they announce the pregnancy to their families.

A/N: sorry for the super short chapter but I wanted to get a small update out to let everyone know that this story will be coming to an end soon as I've kinda lost interest in this one, but I'll be trying to update my other fics soon. I've had a bit on my plate lately so thank you all for your patience.
