I think, a perfect death is jumping on a non-busy bridge. Quiet and peaceful. No one will judge you. No one will stop you. You will just jump and hold your breath for a few minutes and -

"So, you're listening to that podcast again, don't you?" Wheein said as she pulls another earphone in my left ear as I take down notes to what the speaker is saying.

"What do you like about that podcast anyway? He's just saying gibberish words. He's promoting depression and suicide to his listeners. That's not a good thing you know... or... do you have any problem, Byul-ssi? You can share it to me... I will listen..." Wheein, my closest friend added words that is so comforting to hear. But I think, I don't need that for a while.

It's 4:50 in the afternoon of Friday and all I can think of now is that low-toned voice guy speaker whom I first listened to 99 days ago. His 99th episode is so disturbing and my cool soul can't take not to hear another episode of him. 'Cause that means that he really takes his life.

Not a good idea, right?

I just gave Wheein an awkward smile and suddenly the school bell rang...

Perfect!!!

"I need to go..." I spoke to her while I tore a piece of note in my notebook before packing all my things in my medium size bag pack. My friends eyed me suspiciously.

"Yah! Fridays are night out, right? Where will you go?" Solar exclaimed as she gets my longboard nearby my table.

"I have something important to do this night. But I'll make up to you guys..." I said calmly and stole my longboard from her hands as I lean closer and make her fluster. They eyed me in a confused way as I run towards the door.

The school hallway this time feels so short as I step on my longboard and brush off numerous amounts of students racing to get their well deserve weekend and enjoy.

Rest...

I inhaled deep as i pass through the school gate. Until I snap back to the reality, realizing my mission. I eyed the crowded road and drive my board faster.

*swoosh*

*swoosh*

The road slowly felt silent. A perimeter where it's just the bridge, river and a sleeping cat. "This is probably the bridge he is talking about, right? Peaceful and somehow scary." I chuckle on my words on how creepy the wind blows on my face in an instance.

"But it's almost 6pm... Am I wrong? This is the perfect place base on your description..." I shrug as I picked up my longboard and pan my eyes to look for some weird guy coming. But still, no one is coming. I walk once again towards the opposite direction and think of another bridge.

"Aniyoooo~~ this can't be... the second bridge I think off is so far from he-" The paper suddenly flew away from my hand. My annoyance jumps a hundred percent, feeling the negative vibes I was getting throughout my self-made mission for tonight.

I walk back towards the bridge once again and notice a guy coming from afar. I instantly duck down and hide weirdly in some dried bush.

"I felt like stupid here but... please... protect me from all the bees..." I cursed hard hearing some buzz sound around me.

I peak quietly and saw a pale guy with an ebony black hair, wearing a cool headset and wearing a familiar uniform... A uniform that looks like from my school. "Am I seeing this right?? He's from Daegu Highschool too?"

The guy stops in the middle of the bridge and lean towards the metal fence, like a tourist enjoying the beautiful view. "Aniyoo~ this guy isn't the speaker I listened..." I stood up and speak to myself, in denial.

As I silently walk towards the bridge again. The guy suddenly stood up in the thin metal fence.

"What the hell is he doing..." My eyes went big after the train of thoughts suddenly become vivid. "Wait?! What?! It is you!" I froze and yelled non-stop from afar. All of a sudden, I don't know what to do.

He calmly spread his arms and feel the cold breeze brushing to his face. He's so brave.

"Yahhhhh!!! Stop right there!!!" I shout my lungs out but he can't seem to hear me with those headsets he is wearing.

"Yahhhhhhh!!!!" I shout once more and ran towards the guy.

The guy steps...

But luckily, I have grab a piece of his pants and pulled him down. The minute feels so long and dreamy as I see him falling down. Falling down towards me.

His small pale face.

His sharp eyes.

His cute nose.

Pink small lips.

Feels like my Anime crush have come out straight from my favorite manga/anime. I can't help myself to adore his mysterious appearance.

But my seconds of fantasy broke as I felt a hand grab me from my back pushing me towards him. He twists his body together with mine that make him fall on the cold road instead of me.

"Ahhh~" The guy shrug as his head bump on the road adding to my heavy body lying on him. My head resting to his broad chest.

*Tug tug*

His heart still beats so calm, knowing how he is inches away from death. Now i think about how he might really want to leave this world because of the scariest thing may happen to others is just so normal to him.

"Would you mind standing now." He uttered annoyed. I snapped back to reality and stood up as soon as possible. Brushing the dirt from my uniform and also from my mind.

"What do you think you are doing?" He added giving me a deadly glare. And the moment I look up to see him in the eye, I suddenly froze and got scared.

"Are you stalking me?" He abruptly spoke and twitch his eyes. I was caught off guard by his words. Of course, I'm not stalking him.

"I'm not interested on you. You can now go." He added once again. My mind suddenly flinched by his follow-up phrases: I'm not interested on you.

The hell are you talking about. I'm also not interested with you... You just caught my eyes, nothing emotional attach.

My mind was slowly boiling in anger but I remember how my mom always thought me to understand every person I will come across with. How can a person be insensitive or angry because of some problem he/she is facing. I breathe deep and eyed him fiercely.

"I just saw you standing on the fence... And i think-"

"It's none of your business."

I was cutted by his abrupt and harsh answer. He really might be in some big problem or season in his life. I was scared but my cool soul can't help myself to be hopeful. Hopeful that he change his mind.

"Now I saw you, I think it's my business now. I'll stay." I bravely answered and swallowed a big chunk of fear of what will happen next. He suddenly smirks mischievously.

Is he pissed, annoyed, angry, or all of the above?

"OK... You want this? Now let's spend your precious time here." He uttered giggling and lean on the bridge fence, eyeing the beautiful gradient sky again.
