Jeongin was still limping when Hyunjin took him out to eat. The younger not knowing that Hyun had planned a surprise
The pair drove to a restaurant. One that both of them were very familiar with, it was the restaurant where they had their first date
Jeongin smiled sadly, reminiscing about the good and bad. Hyunjin held his waist in hopes of comforting the younger, it was his birthday after all. The two story food chain was oddly quiet, considering both rush hour and lunch time
It had some customers but not quite the amount you'd see in a regular basis
As the older lead Jeongin upstairs, he grew suspicious of what Hyunjin had planned. Jeongin knew that the older must've been planning this for quite some time now
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOTHERFUCKER"
"Ji if you don't shut u-"
"Pfft Sung is just sulky that hIs dOcTOr mInHo iSnT hErE"
"Zip it Lix! He said he's almost here!"
"Gays can we focus on the birthday boy now?"
Jeongin was beyond surprised(no shit). Gold and white balloons floating, a sign with bright colours, and most importantly, his five friends standing there with party hats on
He felt the older's hand brush away and before he knew it, Hyunjin was holding a well lit up cake while smiling softly
"You know love, I had to pay these clowns to be here so happy birthday~" the tallest sheepishly giggled, obviously joking. The youngest blew on the candles after closing his eyes momentarily and making a wish
"Says the one who looks like a clown," a certain squirrel mumbled as he rolled his eyes
"I heard that!" The tallest glared at the poor squirrel boy before chasing him around the venue
"Sorry I'm late, Innie. Patients running around like Hyunjin and Jisung back then." Minho had arrived, holding a gift bag with the youngest's name written on it
"Min if you don't shut u-"
"Sung if you don't finish chewing that marshmallow-"
"Okay lovebirds. We get it. Now that you're here let's go eat. And actually, they were just running around before you got here." the oldest of the bunch stared at the two like a parent. In a way, Chan had always been their guardian and he was most certainly the leader
All of them chatted as cutleries were clashing against plates, laughter and yelling could be heard even from the parking lot
