Hours had passed before Ryn had heard anything. The soft hum within the ship's hull had nulled her to sleep, but the pain that up until now had subsided made its name heard as she wearily opened her eyes. The pain was not the worst she had dealt with, but in her mind, she made a list and put it rightfully within the top 10.

The ship's lead medical officer had seen her on her arrival and quickly ushered her into the medical bay, patching her up again though this time it was messier.

"You can't go around and re-open your stitches' he monologued as his needle pierced Ryns skin.

'You can and will bleed out'

He paused his stitching and looked at her sternly. Ryn nodded, noticing his old and scarred face now that he was up close to her. He had been a surgeon for a long time, no doubt had met many reckless souls like Ryn.

After the appointment, he helped her back to the conference room the Jedi had sat in only hours before. She sat down in the chair, wincing as she could feel the stitches on her side. It didn't hurt too much as it had before, but the feeling bothered her as if a phantom had brushed by it not to cause too much harm, only to let her know it was still there and that she was not invincible.

She was not immortal, of course, she knew this. Within war, there are more than too many near-death experiences that leave you thinking about how everything you worked on in life could be gone in a second. The thought of death lingered over her as if another phantom whose job was to make you contemplate death had just waltzed in.

The room was quiet now. The medical officer has hastily run back to his post after making a small lecture to get Ryn to rest, now the only sound was the humming that Ryn had previously heard joined her in the room. Her eyes and head were heavy, Ryn knew all she had to do was just let go and her body would take over and let her sleep. She didn't want to sleep, she knew she should but her mind wouldn't let her lose the thought that she was still in danger.

She didn't know when it happened, one moment she fought desperately to stay awake, but the table looked so comfortable. It was the perfect place to take a nap, even for someone who was adamant to stay awake it was impossible to resist. Her face met with the glass, she borrowed it into her arms as her eyes fluttered closed, just a few minutes she thought.

The next moment Ryn was awoken by the soft shaking of the ship, which startled her for a moment as she thought she was still above Utapau. She stood up quickly and looked around, reaching for her saber before realizing where she was, and that it was no longer on her. The moment she realized she was on an Alderanian ship the fear disappeared and she let out a sigh of relief as she sat back down in the chair. 'I'm safe' she thought. She rubbed her head and groaned, at first, thinking maybe she should go back to sleep, but quickly put down the thought when she remembered that she had been dreaming.

She was back on her ship as it floated above Utapau. The alarm was blaring as she roamed the empty halls. No personnel, not even droids made an appearance. Anakin had, however. He appeared in the ship's bay with his back turned to the door. His impression remained docile, he didn't move or speak until Ryn approached him. She had called out his name, though got no answer. Ryn wanted to stay back, but she felt a pull towards him and lost all control of her body. She reached out to him, touching his shoulder as she called out his name. His immobility ceased and he turned to face her, though it was not the Anakin she knew. His face was scarred and bloody, his once ocean blue eyes turned to a golden yellow. His skin was turning black and blue as his new obsidian armor grabbed at his skin, turning him into something else. He did not speak, only reached for his new lightsaber, which she pulled out and ignited. To Ryns's surprise, the saber was not blue, it was red. Its blade engulfed the whole room, the ship's siren let out a deafening hiss as Anakin approached Ryn.
