"Heard from no one have we" Yoda spoke in a somber tone.
Walking next to him stood Obi-Wan and Bail Organa.
"I saw thousands of troops attack the Jedi temple, That's why I went looking for Yoda." Bail continued.
"Have we had any contact from the temple?"
"Received a coded retreat message we have" Yoda spoke
Bail nodded and joined in, "It Requests that all the Jedi return to the temple, It says the war is over"
Ryn slowly walked out of the medical bay and looked at the group "It's a trap, no doubt" she said as she leaned her good shoulder on the doorframe.
Ryn had removed her Jedi robes and now only wore her dark pants and a long-sleeved shirt. The doctors had done their best to patch her up, and the pain had subsided. Despite their best efforts to get her to stay in the Medical bay to monitor her, Ryn had gotten up the second she could to go see Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan was looking at Bail when she spoke, but at the sound of her voice he quickly turned to the source, and a weary smile formed on his face. He stepped forward to her and embraced her in a hug.
"Ryn- oh I'm so glad you're okay," he said as he slowly let go of her.
"More or less," She chuckled
Obi-Wan's expression changed to concern as he backed up and looked up and down at Ryns's body. On her face just below the hairline was a small line of stitches sewing up the gash from the explosion, the blood had been wiped off but bruises had set in. Her shoulder and side were also decorated with bruises, but the bandages and new shirt concealed them well.
"You should see the other guy," She said jokingly, trying to change the mood
Obi-Wan didn't smile, he just nodded. He pulled Ryn in for another hug, this time embracing her for a longer period.
"I'm just glad you're alive," He said.
"Me too, hey- just don't squeeze," Ryn said as she patted Obi-Wans back
Yoda stepped forward. "Time for reunions later we will have"
"He's right," Bail said "Jedi from all over are receiving the message"
"Well then, we must go back" Obi-Was stepped in "If there are any stragglers, they will fall into the trap and be killed"
Ryn stopped to think. "What if we re-wrote the code?"
Yoda's ears perked up and he tilted his head, raising an eyebrow. "Hmm... Suggest dismantling the coded signal, do you?"
Obi-Wan and Ryn both nodded their heads.
"Yes, Master" Obi-Wan began "There is too much at stake"
"I agree..."
"It's decided then"
Organa nodded. He turned quickly to a droid that was passing them and ordered it to tell the pilot to set course to Coruscant. In a short moment, the ship shot into hyperspace. While they made their journey, the group sat in a small conference room, Obi-Wan sat in the middle with a Jedi on each side. Bail stood in the doorway as he contemplated what to do or say. The room was dead quiet, each person's mind buzzing. Ryn hadn't moved for a while, she just stared at her hand as she silently tapped them on the table. It had only been a day since she left Coruscant to go fight on Kashyyyk, what happened? She and her people were now traitors who were being hunted down for... what? Ryn closed her eyes and let out a sigh, catching the attention of Obi-Wan.
