I knew my legs were growing weak from the running but I didn't stop. I kept on running, it was life and death to me. Soon enough the person had stopped her tracks. I knew this was my chance to catch up to the person and finally there she was. Her back facing towards me, covered with a black cloak, stands of golden hair dancing in the air from my angle. Before the person could turn around to look at me, she had collapsed to the floor.
I quickly ran towards her to catch her before falling and here she was, falling into my arms. I turned her face and it was her. The very girl I thought was impossible to be the one. She was covered in bruises and blood. Her eyes were closed and she seemed very well unconscious. Anxiety ran through my veins as I watched her covered in blood. I held her stomach to see that there was a stab that wasn't healing.
I picked her up and ran for help. I knew my feet was going to give up on me pretty soon from all the running but I didn't care. I needed to find a place to help her. I ran and ran, my legs, my arms as well as my fingers from quivering from both exhaustion and anxiety. I didn't know what was happening. I couldn't tell if this was a dream on if it was reality. My mind wasn't functioning right and it felt like a dream but I knew it's not. I was so confused.
The brown cabin finally came into view, I knocked down the door, not caring about opening it through the nob. James and Nadine were at the couch and they quickly got up to see what happened.
"Place her in the couch." James said, also fretting. "Damn, what happened to her and who is she?" He queried as I placed her to the couch.
"Megan!" Nadine called out but Megan was already on the staircase going down.
"Who is that?" Megan also queried but no words came out of my mouth. I held the blonde's hand. I held it as tight as I could but not tight enough to break it. "James, call kate and doctor Marjuan!"
James did what he was told and ran to his room to get his phone.
"Emi, let Megan handle her." Nadine said trying to get me to let go of her hand and Nadine putting her's on my back for reassurance. "Emi, seriously, you're shaking so much, you need to breathe."
"Emi." Megan said in her alpha tone, causing me to look at those piercing blue eyes. She put her hand on my shoulder. "Go to the kitchen and get yourself water. Get yourself together if you want to help her."
I finally let go of her hand. I didn't go to the kitchen as she said but I took a step back, Nadine taking a step closer to her. "What is wrong with her?"
Megan held her stomach to where the stab was. "I think there is still a piece of the silver weapon inside of her." Megan spoke.
Megan was calm and collected but I saw Nadine's eyes that held worry in it. "How do you take it out?"
"Well, we can't wait for the doctor to get here, she'll be dead by then so we have to do it ourselves." Without any hesitation, Megan dug her hand into the wound. With no control over myself, I quickly moved towards Megan to stop her. She seemed like she was making it worse but Nadine held me back.
"Let her do it, don't be stupid Emi. Breathe!" I shook my head, no words seem to have came out my mouth. No voice came out either. I don't know what was going on with me. I couldn't think, I tried to push Nadine out the way only for her fist to make contact with my face causing me to fall back to the floor. "Get your shit together Emi!"
"I got it." Megan took her hand out of the girl's abdomen and there it was. A piece of a silver blade covered in blood on Megan's fingers. She placed it on the table and that was when Dr. Marjuan walked through the knocked down door. He rushed to our direction.
