My Alpha chapter 3
As I pulled up into the front of the Cabin, I was already able to smell my father’s scent still lingering inside the house. Nadine and I got out the car and walked towards the wooden door and opening it.
“Where were the two of you?” I opened the door to see Megan standing in front of us, arms crossed. “I’ve called both of you but you wouldn’t pick up.”
It’s so hard to take her seriously, everytime I look at her eyes, I automatically get lost. “Emi and I…”
“Went around in the car all night.” I cut Nadine off. “I wanted to get drunk and I dragged her along, but don’t worry, she didn’t do anything.” I already knew she could smell the liquor in our mouth if she tried, but as long as nadine keeps her mouth shut, she shouldn't get caught.
She was able to sense my half lie, I could see it in her face. “You did what?” Megan growled and took a step towards me. “You brought my little sister with you to get drunk?” I nodded my head as she came up to me and tugging on the collar of my shirt. As much as I wanted to be terrified, I was actually turned on.
“Calm your tits down.” I spoke nervously without looking at her deep bright blue eyes and didn’t realize what I said until I have finally said the words.
Shit.
“Calm my what?” Megan squinted her eyes in disbelief of what I just said.
“I- I umm… I said calm.. your uh um.. bits down.” Wait, ‘bits’? Really Emi? “No, wait, not bits, its not bits, I mean uhh…” Before I was able to continue, Megan threw me to the other side of the room like I was just some weightless paper. Great, she now thinks I am a complete pervert.
“Fuck.”

I layed on my bed, the thought of the conversation carved in my mind. I’ve never regretted something like this before! Why does it even matter? It's not like I have never said that to a girl before. Maybe it’s because she’s my alpha? But I’ve told my father to ‘calm his balls’ before so why does it matter now? Her beautiful blue eyes is something I can’t get off my mind. Now to think of it, ever since I met her I don’t believe I have ever seen her smile. She is always serious, I really want to change that but everytime I talk to her I can never find the right words to speak and end up saying something I completely don’t want to tell her. I have never been so lost in words when it comes to talking to a girl before so why does it matter now? What makes now different?
I looked at my digital clock and realized it was already 15 minutes before class started. I turned my head to the door hearing it open and the familiar scent getting closer.
“Are you going to drive me to school or do I have to take your car again?” Nadine spoke in the most demanding voice. Nadine was annoying, bossy, demanding and so much more that we were actually alike in so many ways. Rolling my eyes, I stood up and made my way to the door, making sure I had my keys and bag.
“Why don’t you ask Dean to drive you?” I spoke opening my Camaro.
“Dean’s college is on the opposite side of town where our school is and I don’t want to bother him. He’s also usually late most of the time.” As usual, Nadine spoke without making eye contact and stayed on her phone with her headphones.
“Can I ask you something?” With that being said, I finally caught her attention with my serious voice. “I know Megan wasn’t always so serious but how do you actually put a smile on her face?”
“Why do you care so much?”
The emerald eyed girl sat beside me, took me by surprise with her question. Why do I want to make her smile?
