Meet Luke Hemmings, a shy boy who daydreams a lot, likes to keep out of trouble, and goes out of his way to help everyone, because he's just that kind of person, really. His favourite thing to do is to hang out with his new best friend Ashton and to have fun.

Meet Michael Clifford, an outgoing boy who doesn't care about anyone or anything, likes to start fights with those who choose to annoy him and hates helping anyone because that's so NOT punk rock, you know. His favourite thing to do is to play video games with Calum, his best mate since he can remember.

Everyone wants to keep their thoughts private, but what happens if someone can hear them? And you don't get a choice in it. What happens when it messes with your decisions, changes your favourite colour.

Hello, welcome to Designated Partners! It's an AU short story (10 chapters maybe??) including Muke ship (obviously) and Ash and Cal will be included (maybe Cashton? Yes, no?)... I'm changing Mikey's natural hair colour to brown by the way because it just fits better (I know he's a natural blonde), Luke is 16, Mikey and Cal are 17, and Ash is 18 in this (basically yr 11, lower sixth form, and upper sixth form).
