After going to Adventureland to ride Pirates of the Great-Debate-on-Pronunciation, they made their way to Tomorrowland (on the other side of the park, because that makes perfect logistical sense) for the ride that none of them would ever be too old for. Who cares if it's based on Toy Story? It's a classic and it would be yet another opportunity for Daniel and Kyle to clash with the competition.

"If we want to stop it," Brooklyn whispered, leaning her head in closer to Lacey's, "We have to find out why it's happening."

"And in order to do that, we must go straight to the source," Lacey responded quietly. She felt like she was on an important mission of some sorts... It was kind of cool. "But we have to make sure to catch them off guard, to make sure they're honest."

Brooklyn nodded. Even though the heat was just about killing her and she felt like she would just melt into a puddle of sweat, she could still scheme schemes. "How do you suggest we do that? Divide and conquer maybe?"

"Sounds like a plan," Lacey smiled. She decided she liked scheming. With Brooklyn, specifically. She was too scared to get involved in whatever Sydney might come up with.

"We pull a 'Parent Trap' and switch on them. See what we can get out of them?"

"Roger. Anything I should be aware of before we begin?" Lacey quickly glanced ahead and saw they were nearing the end of the line.

"Don't panic, if this goes well we could end a catastrophic disaster before it even begins." Brooklyn said solemnly. "The threat is much greater than you and I."

"We must be strong," Lacey nodded, ignoring the confused looks she was receiving from Colin and Sydney... not to mention the other people in line with them. Daniel, as per his new usual, was too busy glaring at Kyle to notice Lacey's super-secret whisper session.

"All I heard was 'catastrophic disaster' and I want in," Dae announced, putting one arm around Brooklyn and one around Lacey.

"Oh come on," Sydney joined in, rolling her eyes. "We don't need their catastrophic disaster, we can cause our own! Plus, knowing Lacey, the 'catastrophic disaster' she's probably referring to is the fact that Daniel won't buy her another frozen lemonade."

"You're right!" Dae exclaimed. "See ya later, losers!" She let go of Brooklyn and Lacey and strutted back to where Colin and Axel stood behind them. Her partner in crime right by her side.

Brooklyn smiled and rolled her eyes. "I think we are trying to save humanity from the wrong people here..." She said with a glance at a suspiciously grinning Dae and Syd.

"We should probably be running right now, shouldn't we?" Lacey laughed, but in all seriousness, she knew they should be. "Colin and Axel can handle them, right?" She wasn't very confident, but it would take nothing short of a superhero to save them from whatever they have planned.

"I think running would be very wise!" Brooklyn laughed. "But leaving Colin and Ax alone with them might not be the best idea... I used to live with Axel and that boy has a backbone like spaghetti! And when it comes to Dae it's even worse, he lets her get away with everything!" She knew that even Kyle with access to all the technology that The Heroes owned, would still not be enough to fix whatever mess those two would make...

"Colin's no better," Lacey shook her head. "But it's almost time to execute Operation Alpha Male..." She could already hear workers instructing everyone to keep their hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the cart at all times. "And I think I can only handle one herculean task at a time."

"Are you ready? It's go-time!" Brooklyn couldn't help but smile. All the excitement of the last year without the paralysing fear.

"Best of luck, B!" Lacey saluted her before walking out onto the moving conveyor belt, hooking her arm through a very confused Kyle's, and marching to the next cart. She could hear Daniel's protests, but only offered him her sweetest smile for consolation.
