So today, I texted Clara, I asked her if she wanted to hang out and she said she was busy and I was like "Okay." So I was with Calum at Panda Express for lunch.
Calum was wearing a red cap backwards on his black and blonde hair.
"Okay, man," Calum said, "can you hook me up with Aubrey Blackburn? She is fine!"
"Aubrey?" I said.
"Short girl, long blonde hair, Asian, ghetto as crap!" Calum said. "I think you have Algebra with her."
"Sorry, man, I'm not playing matchmaker," I said. "I have my relationship to work on."
Calum raised a brow. "You're in a relationship?"
"Oh, I didn't tell you, did I?" I said. I haven't spoken to Michael or Calum since I got with Clara.
"So a week ago, this British girl transferred and I asked her out," I said.
"Wait, what about the Lucy thing..." Calum said.
"I have to ask," I said, "so Jan came by and gave me a letter Lucy wrote for me, she said Lucy knew when I should read it, but do you know anything about it?"
Calum's dark eyes looked away for a second.
"What?" I said.
"You know how everyone has a note?" Calum said.
I nodded.
"That was her note."
My blood turned to ice.
"Her note was a letter to me?"
Calum nodded.
"I don't know how to reply, to be honest," I said.
"It's okay, man," Cal said, "let's just change the subject back to getting me a girlfriend, okay?"
I nodded.
