"Lucy!" I said one day.
I knocked on the door.
There was Pierce the Veil playing really loud over and over again.
I looked down.
Open the door.
-Lucy.
I opened the door.
Why was it unlocked?
All I knew is I woke up from a nap with a note on my face saying:
Come to my room.
-Lucy.
I walked in and her radio was playing very very loud.
She shared a room with Amy at the time.
It was completely empty.
There was a note stuck in the closed bathroom door.
Thank you, Luke.
-Lucy.
I slowly opened the door.
"Oh my God..."
Lucy Wu was dangling from a scarf that she tied to her bathroom light.
"Lucy!"
I felt warm tears go down my face.
I untied the scarf quickly.
She fell down in my arms.
"Lucy...Lucy please..."
I picked her up and ran out.
"Someone help!!!"
Ashton was the first to see.
"What happened?"
"She-she-she isn't breathing! I don't know what to do! Call 911! She was hanging from the light and..."
"Her jaw is clenched."
"No! Maybe she'll be okay! Call 911, Ashton!"
"Luke?"
"Now Ashton!"
Ashton called 911 and she was taken to the hospital.
Jan was with her parents.
The nurse walked out and we didn't hear what she said to the Wu family, but her mother collapsed crying.
I had a feeling that I couldn't explain.
The feeling that my heart clenched.
"Luke?"
Lucy is gone.
"Luke?"
She killed herself.
"Luke?"
I didn't save her.On September 19, 2013, Lucy Wu died from suicide. And I never felt a pain quite like the pain I felt when finding the dead body of the girl I loved.
Ashton, Amy and I got depressed after that.
We started to cut. I wanted to kill my self so many times. Hoping that I can just see Lucy's smile one more time.
I missed seeing her.
Hearing her laugh.
Holding her hand.
Nothing got better for so long.
I remember one night, I wasn't sleeping. I was crying silently.
I looked over to my left and saw Amy.
Amy use to sneak in my room all the time, so I wasn't fazed.
"I know how you feel."
"You don't know anything, Amy."
"She was my best friend, Luke. I was the last person she talked to. I got in a fight with her. I told her to get lost and I never wanted to see her again!"
Amy was crying.
Her voice was broken in so many ways.
"I will never ever forgive myself, Luke."
"Why are you telling me this?"
She looked at me right in the eyes.
"So you know who to be mad at."Song above:
