Arriving

"I won!" "Nick screamed.

"Did not!" Sarah yelled angrily.

"Yes he did!" Jack whined sticking up for Nick.

"No he did not, Sarah won!" Jamie added.

"Guys calm down, we are nearly there!" I told them, turning my head to face all four of the, and giving them a glare.

"You excited Layla?" Luke asked with a smirk, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Yeah, it will be just us six, no parents, no one telling us what to do! Urgh, I can not wait!" I sighed and turned my head to look out of the window.

"It's going to be a great week!" Jamie said

"It sure will be!" Nick agreed.

"We haven't forgot anything have we?" Jamie asked us all.

"Nope, I brang everything I was suppose to bring" Jack said.

"So did I" Sarah squealed. She was more excited. We had planned to get away from home for a long time. I had asked my uncle if he knew anywhere we could go and he told me that he had a spare house in the woods which was about 60 or so miles away from home.

It had quickly turned to night and we where all getting pretty impatient. We just wanted to get to the house and do what we had planned. We had been in the car for hours and my butt was beginning to go numb.

"How far now?" Nick asked Luke, poking his head through the gap between us.

"About-" Luke looked at the map quickly. "Two minutes away for sit down and shut up" Nick sighed and disappeared to the back of the car. I looked up ahead and saw a man standing outside a tall house. I put my head forward a bit and squinted my eyes.

"Oh my god guys" I started to say. "It's a glass house!" I told them all.

"Mate I hope the bathroom is in the basement!" Sarah whined.

"And why is that?" Jack asked

"Because of perverts like you!" She replied with a laugh.

"There's someone standing outside!" Jamie chimed, pointing to the house.

"That's the man who's gonna give us a tour, he's a friend of my uncles" I told her. Luke stopped the car and we all climbed out. Heading to the boot, we all grabbed out suitcases as and walked over to the man as Luke locked the car. We all slowly walked over to the man in the suit.

"Layla?" He asked looking around at each of us.

"That's me!" I said stepping forward. He held out his hand for me to shake and I shook it.

"Hi my name is Chris Davis and I'm here to give you a tour of the house" he said with a smile

"Great" Nick said. "Can we go in now?"

"Do you have the key?" Chris asked me. I nodded and reached into my pocket, taking out the key. I placed it into the key hole and went to turn it, but it disappeared.

"Well done Layla a you broke it!" Jack said in annoyance.

"No I did not!" I retaliated.

"Yes you-" jack didn't get to finish the sentence. Lights started to flicker on in the house and the glass door opened. We all followed Chris inside and looked around. The house was beautiful and a lot of the furniture looked very very expensive.

"What's with the writing on the walls?" Sarah asked

"It's Latin" Luke said in amazement.

"How do you know?" Jamie asked.
