Blake's POV
"Hey, wake up! We're going to be late for our flight!"
Jane was still asleep on the sofa, and we had only a few hours before we had to leave for South Korea. I had planned to get her to work there because I knew it would make a huge difference for her. She had such a beautiful face, and her voice—damn, her voice. I could listen to it all day long.
"Blake?" she mumbled, still half asleep.
"Yep, we'll be late if I don't wake you up. Get up, quick!"
"You... you fucked me?"
"Huh? What are you talking about? I didn't fuck you."
"You tease, I dreamt about us fucking each other."
"HAHAHA, oh my God, Jane, what the heck? Why would I even think about that? But... do you want to make it real?"
"Ugh, Blake, just stop. You're so annoying!" Jane groaned, tossing a pillow at me.
"Forget about it. We're done with that," I teased.
"Where's Aila?" she asked.
"She texted me. She's waiting for us at the airport since she knows you'll take forever. Looks like she's really going through with leaving Callie," I replied.
"I don't even know the real reason why that idiot did it," Jane said, referring to Callian Drex, Aila's ex.
"Maybe she's just tired of Callie. HAHA," I joked.
"She's been irritated for a while now. She's just waiting for the right time to break free from that cheater," Jane replied.
"Oh, wow, now you're making me feel bad. I'm not a cheater," I said, pretending to be hurt.
"Fine, okay, you're not a cheater. Can you just shut up now?" Jane shot back.
"Let's go," I said, starting to get the bags ready.
Jane's POV
"Where are you leaving your kid?" I asked.
"he'll go with his nanny to South Korea since we'll be there for a while. His dad might secretly visit him," Blake explained. He was talking about Carl, his ex. They broke up because of family problems, and Blake had told me all about it.
"Okay, I'll get to see the cute little boy then," I said, smiling.
"Let's go!" Blake quickly ushered us into the van. He helped get the
luggage in the back while the driver assisted as well, speeding things up.
At the Airport in South Korea:
"Oh, you guys are here!" Alia greeted us, having arrived earlier. I texted her to ask where she was, and she was waiting for us.
"Final decision?" Blake asked.
"Yep, yep," Alia replied.
"Yeah," Jane said.
"Forget about Drex," Jane added.
"Shut up, Jane, I'm trying, okay?" Alia snapped.
"Trying, trying, and then crying at night because you miss him? Wow, that's so dramatic," Jane teased.
"Alright, you two talk, I'll go ahead," Blake said, walking off.
In the Airplane:
"Ladies and gentlemen, all cellular telephones and other portable electronic devices, such as CD players and laptop computers, must be turned off and stowed for departure. The Captain has turned off the Fasten Seat Belt sign, and you may now move about the cabin. However, we always recommend keeping your seat belt fastened while seated.
In a few moments, the flight attendants will be passing around the cabin to offer you hot or cold drinks. Now, sit back, relax, and enjoy the flight. Thank you."
After Hours:
"Welcome to South Korea Airport. The local time is 3:23 PM, and the temperature is 15°C (59°F). For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and it is safe for you to move about.
Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board and use caution when opening the overhead bins, as heavy articles may have shifted during the flight.
If you require deplaning assistance, please remain in your seat until all other passengers have deplaned. One of our crew members will assist you.
On behalf of JAL and the entire crew, we thank you for joining us, and we look forward to seeing you again in the future. Have a nice day."
Arrival at the Hotel:
"Alia, wake up, we've arrived!" I said, shaking Alia awake. She immediately opened her eyes and checked her phone.
"Good afternoon, are you excited?" I asked.
"I'm nervous," she replied. I could feel her anxiety. No matter how big Korea is, there was a chance I could bump into Ace. I hadn't seen him in over a year, and now I'm coming back like nothing ever happened.
Blake's POV:
"Let's go. We have a hotel room. You and Alia can stay in one room, and I'll take a separate one. If you guys aren't comfortable, just let me know, and I'll get another room," Blake said.
Alia's POV:
There was a car waiting for us outside with a driver.
"Boss, welcome back!" the driver said.
"Thank you, thank you. Please help them with their luggage so they don't have to struggle," Blake said.
I didn't understand him at first since I was from Japan, but earlier on the plane, I was reading a little book to learn some phrases in Korean.
"彼が言った事?" (What did he say?) I whispered to Jane.
"Kare wa untenshu ni kansha shi, watashitachi no nimotsu no tasuke o motomemashita" (He thanked the driver and asked for help with our luggage.)
I just nodded.
(LOL, I wasn't sure if that translation was accurate, but I just followed what Google told me. Sorry!)
The drive was quiet until we reached the hotel.
"Okay, Jane, I'm with you in the room. How about you, bebs?" I asked.
"Sounds good," Jane replied.
"So, here's your room, 223. I'm in room 242," Blake said, handing over the keys.
Jane's POV:
I know I'll regret this someday. Coming back without any signs or papers, without anything but my own foolishness... But honestly, no matter what happens now, I'm ready to face it. I have to accept that it's my fault. I'll have to deal with the consequences.
"Hey, you're zoning out again. Come on, unpack your stuff. There are two cabinets. You take the right one, I'll take the left," Alia said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I stood up from the chair and opened my luggage when suddenly my phone rang. I quickly answered it.
Mom:
"Are you there yet?"
Me:
"Yes, Mom. We just arrived at the hotel."
Mom:
"Where's Gail?"
Me:
"Not yet, but I think she's coming in a few days. I heard she might travel with Blake's son and the nanny on the flight here."
Mom:
"Really? Alright, take care and don't stay up too late."
Me:
"Okay, Mom. You take care too. Give my love to Gail."
End Call.
