JENNIE POV

I found myself only because I lost what I once had. At first, I told myself I didn't regret it. But there are days when I ask... why did I do those stupid things to my Lisa? Was it because I had to learn how to be content with one person? Or because I made her think she wasn't enough? Maybe both.

"Jennie, where are you looking at?"

"I just miss Liam, Alia," I said while staring out the window at the setting sun.

"Not your wife, huh?" Ugh, this girl. Bruh, I miss her too, okay?

"Is Gail awake now?" I asked, standing up, but she pulled my arm.

"I don't think so—"

"YAHHH. You're the babysitter and—"

"Shhh, she's still sleeping. Shut up. And I'm not her babysitter, I'm her aunt, you bitch."

Oh wow. She's mad. Her face is red as a tomato.

"About the divorce papers?" she suddenly asked.

Ah, yes. Divorce...

It's been one year and five months since I last saw my child and my wife.

I moved to Japan to raise Gail and to live a peaceful life for the meantime. I had no communication with them because Somi—is having a baby too, and Lisa didn't want her to be stressed. I had no choice but to give them what they wanted.

Silence.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Gail started crying. I rushed to my room. Alia was in the kitchen, of course, preparing our lunch.

I picked up my eight-month-old baby, her little cries echoing in the room. She was so cute.

"Oww, mommy's here. Stop crying, my baby mandu." I carried her, swaying my hips until she slowly calmed down in my arms. She was always comfortable with me. But her auntie? Bruh. If my baby could walk and talk already, they would fight every day over the silliest things.

"Do you want mommy to sing, baby? Huh?"

"Oww, little mandu, you're so cute. Sleep, sleep, because mommy's gonna eat... or do you want mommy to eat you~"

She giggled, even though I was terrible at singing.

"Jennie, food is readyyyy! Come onnnn!" Alia shouted. Okay, madam, what can I even do?

I sat at the dinner table, amazed because Alia had already set everything up. Wow, girl. Fast hands.

"Is Drex coming?" I teased.

"あなたは死にたいですか?" she glared at me, her eyes sharp. Did she just threaten to kill me? No way.

"I'm just joking, okay? I know your ex will show up saying, 'I still love you, Alia, please come back to me,' nyenye—" I made a funny face. She looked at me with pure disgust.

"I'm really gonna hit you, Je—"

"Hey, there's a kid here." Of course, I cut her off. Boss move.

After eating, Alia cleaned up while my daughter was still wide awake—super hyper, too.

"I need to go, Jennie. You take care of things here, okay?"

"I'm not a kid, bitch."

"Okay, okay, bye~ Chubby Gail." She kissed Gail and ran off. Did she just call my baby chubby? Huh?!

"YAHHHHHH!"

Two hours later, I was watching Netflix with Gail when I looked at her.

"You really look like your dad, baby mandu..."

My phone suddenly rang. I answered.

"Jaaaneeyahhh!"

"What?" I could still remember what he did to my life. As far as I knew, he had already found his new love.

"Yahh, how can you be rude to your boyfriend, huh?"

"Kai, stop it. I'm not amused." My voice was cold.

"Wow, you're treating me like your employee."

"Why are you calling? I'm taking care of Gaile."

"You need to come back here, madam."

"What do you mean?"

"Because I'm getting married, girl."

"Lol. Who's that unlucky person?"

"Jennie. Remember your old friend? The one you got jealous of before. Ay, ay, ay, I remember wh—"

"Shut up."

"Tsk. I want to see my baby, noh."

I immediately ended the call. I knew he was laughing right now. And I hated it. Why would he call my daughter his?

Kai: (I'm just joking haha sorry, babe.)
This man... AHHHHHHHH!

Lisa's POV

Hello... it's me, Lisa Manoban. Maybe you forgot about the girl who was once too stupidly in love with someone who betrayed her.

(Flashback)
"Babeeee, get readyyy! We're leaving!" Somi shouted, and I quickly went to the car. We had a check-up and also had to drop Liam off. You know... boyfriend things, haha.

So, let's talk about my life.
HAPPY. NO REGRETS.

I'm happy now, because I'm no longer that fool who kept running after someone who didn't value me. Liam, my son, is already nine years old. He treats Somi like his mother, and honestly, he's even more excited than me when we welcomed our baby boy into the world.

Sometimes, I think about returning to showbiz. But for now, my family comes first. Maybe someday.

No regrets. I never regretted that tragedy. Maybe one day, she'll wake up and realize how important it is to be content with just one person. I know I wasn't perfect either. I admit—I wasn't always there for her. That was my fault, too.

I've moved on, but I'll never forget the happy days we once had. Sometimes Liam asks me where his mother is... and I don't know how to answer. All I can hope is that she stays away for now, because I know... one day, she'll come back to take him from me.

"Babe, are you okay? You seem lost in your imagination. What's on your mind?" Somi asked curiously.

"I'm okay, baby. Here's your water. Do you want anything else?" I sat beside her.

"Still thinking about the divorce papers?"

Divorce papers... It's been one year and five months, and still no sign of them. I know she can't bring herself to sign.

"No... just thinking about showbiz."
