sophia's pov- a couple of weeks later, i was back at school. i was stood talking to jules about english homework but she was on her phone paying zero attention.
"okay bitch. who the fuck are you texting?" i asked her.
"this guy named tyler. i think i like actually love him"
"hmm. have you ever met him?" i asked her curiously.
"umm no not yet" she answered
"i- girly have you ever watched catfish?" i was deadass. it's so much more common than people actually think.
"yes i have and i genuinely don't think i'm being catfished" ok miss defensive
i held my hand up defensively.
"aye look i'm not trying to start anything. listen it's happened to me. it's probably happened to every fucking person before. all i'm saying is be careful" i warned her.
after that i walked away.

a couple of days later, i walked into the cafeteria. i really needed to speak to maddy.
she was sat with nate.
"mads!" i call for her as i walk towards them and sit down.
"hey soph. what's up?"
"d'you wanna get high later?" i asked her. i don't know why but i was really in the mood to smoke today.
"sure" she smiled.
as we were talking she kept looking towards nate and she was getting irritated.
"he's been like this all week. he just won't look up from his damn phone" she whispered, rolling her eyes.
"that's dodgy mads. check his phone"
listen I don't condone going through your mans phone. but if he's acting sus, check it.
" oh don't worry, i will" she stated. and we laughed.

after school we went to fez's gas station.
"hey fez" i say as we walk in.
"soph, maddy. what are you here for?" he asked.
"erm a 20 bag" i asked, going up to him and side hugging him. (listen I don't know weed slang in America so if it's not right then you're more than welcome to tell me😭)
I pass him $20 dollars and he passes me the weed.
"thanks boo" i say kissing him on the cheek.
me and maddy walk back to her car and drive to some parking lot.
she rolls whilst i connect my phone to the aux.
she lights it and we pass it back and forth for a bit until she speaks up.
