*A/N oh hello. It's been over a year since I last posted. Which means it's been a year since I wrote anything at all. I simply haven't had the motivation to write. Truthfully it's my health's fault. It's been declining steadily and has been aweful. Also this particular story sat as a draft for idk how long at only about 400 words. I decided to finish it and some other drafts I have here bc well the writing bug had bitten.
Also Trigger Warning, nothing ~unseemly~ occurs but we get real damed close. I might do a part two for this I'm not sure yet.

I had no idea how long i was on Neverland, just that it had been many nights. And they were hard nights.

It started with one boy in particular, Rufio. During the days while i played with the younger boys or helped with food, he'd stare at me so hard it bore holes in my skin.

The youngest of the lost boys, Adien, said i should tell Pan about it. I wasn't an idiot, i knew why he started at me the way he did. I was the first girl most of these boys had seen in a long time. Honestly i was surprised they all didn't look at me that way.

I shook my head and tried to ignore the staring, "Its alright Adien. There's no need to bring Pan into this. As long he doesnt try anything its ok."

"Not bring Pan into what?" Somehow i had failed to notice the large shadow looming over us, successfully blocking the light i had been using to read to Aiden. That was my role on the Island, make sure the younger ones dont get hurt while the older boys do dumb shit. Aiden however was my biggest concern. He has been extremely malnourished and his bones were rather weak due to it. Pan did what he could but still the smallest lost boy broke bones left and right. So most of the time we spent sitting and learning and reading.

"Felix, has anyone ever told you that for as a tall as you are, you're twice as quiet?" And creepy.....

Felix-Pans right hand- knelt down and smirked "Thats how you become second in command, Princess." I rolled my eyes at his nickname for me. "Now, what are you not telling Pan?"

"It's nothing bad, I promise." I waved Felix off, "Besides, he knows everything on the island so he probably is already aware"

Felix hummed in a way that told me he didn't really believe me. "It's time for bed."

I sighed softly before standing up from Aiden's cot. Pulling the fur blanket over his little body, I kissed his forehead and bid him good night.

What I didn't see was Felix stay behind in the youngest boys tent and the hushed conversation they had.

I dropped hard into my cot, after having throughly checked the area surrounding my tent for an unwanted guest.

It's fine. He won't do anything. Pan brought me here for a reason and no boy would be stupid enough to try that. I tried to reason with myself. It didn't really work.

Sleep did not come easy but it did eventually, though it was brief. Rustling in my tent woke me and, before I could scream, a hand clamped over my mouth.

It was Rufio.

"Aiden had a nightmare and ran off into the woods."

I slapped his hand away and sprung out of my bed. "Why didn't you follow him, or stop him?"

"He only likes you." The lost boy called out as I flung open the tent and dashed outside. I briefly debated waking Pan, he'd be able to glean Aiden's location in an instant. Deciding there wasn't time, and Pan was always grumpy when he was woken up, I asked Rufio what direction he'd gone. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into the woods.

I found myself becoming increasingly concerned the farther we went into the woods. There had been no sign of Aiden and I was worried he had gotten hurt. After we traveled a good distance from camp I glanced back at the lost boy, "Are you sure he went this way? There's no sign-"

I was cut off my Rufio grabbing me and pinning me roughly against the tree. He slammed me so hard the bark bit into my skin and my head bounced off it making my skull throb. I tried to scream but he stuffed some kind of cloth in my mouth before pinning both my wrists above my head with one of his hands. Since my only priority was finding Aiden and bringing him back I had neglected to grab any of my weapons.

My heart thrummed in my chest as I tried screaming but between the cloth stuffed in my mouth and how far we were it would be impossible for anyone to hear me. I tried to spit out the cloth  but I just gagged on it instead.

Peter. Please. I pleaded him to see what was happening. To know. To stop it. Please!

Everything was silent as the lost boy pulled a knife from his belt and slid it under the fabric of my shirt. He was going to cut it off, knowing full and well he couldn't let go of my wrists. He had just finished slicing the fabric up the center when a hand clamped onto the back of his neck.

His eyes went wide with fear. The hand yanked him back with astounding strength, causing him to fly through the air for a moment before colliding with a tree and land face down in the dirt.

"Get back to camp." Pan said, "Aiden's fine. Wait in my tent. I need to have a word with Rufio."

I sat on Pans bed trembling. He came back when the sun started to peak on the horizon. He said nothing, just sat down next to me and extended his arms. I fell into them, sobbing on his chest.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Peter questioned only after my sobs slowed.

"No one believed me the first time. I didn't think you would."

His grip tightened on me and he pulled me into his lap before leaning back so that we were laying on the bed.

"You're mine, id have taken it seriously."

I sobbed harder and Peter kissed the top of my head, then hooked a finger under my chin and pulled so that I was looking up at him. He kissed the tip of my nose before gently placing his lips on mine.

"I think it's time we tell the boys about us," he mumbled, "So this never happens again."

I nodded in agreement as he pulled the blanket over us and fell asleep in his arms, feeling safer than I ever had before.
