Grian and Grain Pt.2

"Is it just me or is Grian acting a little- . . . . I don't know, odd?"

"The only thing sus here is your base," The llama loving girl said sarcastically. The looked over to Grian's alleyway. It had taken down all the wonky and more rustic-y. Almost a Undertale sort of vibe. "But I haven't seen Grian do this in a long time."

"So, I should be worried?" The tall, suited man asked. Fidgeting with his tie.

"It'll be fine Mumbo, to be fair, I rotated my entire starter base 90 degree's!" Pearl laughed a bit. "It's probably just a builder thing!" She reassured him.

"Okay, if you say so- I got to go, bye Pearl!" Mumbo flew off out of render only to have an internal argument about the topic once more. Eventually Mumbo just sighed and flew back to Grian's base.

"Hey Grian? You here?" He asked walking down the mines.

"Yes?" A voice said behind him. "Do you need anything?"

"Oh, I just wanted to say hi," There was an awkward silence for s second before Mumbo continued. "Random question, what are you wearing?"

"A red sweater?" 'Grian' responded. But there was no way that was Grian. Grian always said he wore a red jumper, persisting it to be a jumper.

"And what colour would you say your hair is?"

"Dirty blonde, why?"

"Oh, no reason," Mumbo just had one more thing he wanted to check, "I just made a new redstone area of my base, do you want to go see it?"

"Sure."

*Sligh time skip: *

As Mumbo walked by the several redstone machines and buttons, it caught Mumbo's attention that Grian didn't press any. "Do you want to press some buttons for them?"

"No thank, I don't want to break anything. What do they do though?" 'Grian' asked. SINCE WHEN DOES GRIAN NOT WANT TO MESS WITH MUMBO'S REDSTONE????? Fist Mumbo had to play it cool, then after he can talk to the others one more time, see what they think and if they have any idea if they can get h̶i̶s̶  their Grian back.

"Oh well you see, it's quite simply really-"

"This is not Grian, no way. Grian always said his hair Mousey brown! Not to mention the fact he called his jumper a SWEATER!"

"Mumbo- I think you're going crazy," Impulse said jokingly. "What if he just changed his wording this time?"

"I've known Grian for years, and he's NEVER called his jumper a 'sWeAtEr-'" Mumbo explained. "And he calls his hair mousey brown because he said it to prove someone wrong, to tell me that it was dirty blonde would be admitting that he admitted defeat! He's been doing that since a few years ago as well! Why would he change-?!"

"Dude, I just think you're over thinking it." Scar added, making Mumbo sigh.

"Okay, what about me taking him to my base and he didn't even TRY to push the buttons!?"

"He could just be having an off-day Mumbo," Impulse added. Clearly, Mumbo wasn't going to get any help from his neighboring friends. So, he did what he had to do, and decided to find and return Grian by himself.

"-E  -EE-  to -i-  -im!"

"Sh--h!"

A/N: So sorry this isn't the Valentine's Day Story, but this story chapter needed to get updated or else I would never get it done. Heh- Also sorry if it isn't super in character, normally I don't watch Impulse, Pearl, or Scar enough to know how they talk. I know this isn't Grian's POV but next chapter for this will be, I promise! Also, the galactic isn't super important EXCEPT for the bit at the end and the fact it's being said, (-though it's less important after the next chapter eventually gets released.  And the other Galactic is more of a slight hint of stuff that's going on, semi-spoiler but nothing majour, more like a subtly unsubtle hint!-) This was posted again at like 1030-ish where I live, and I've been working on this for almost 7 and a half hours!
