Narrator's POV
That day, every single villain, whether they hated or loved Dabi, gathered around the lake for the funeral of Touya "Dabi" Todoroki and Karma Kaori. It rained that day, water was both of their weaknesses. However, they both found that their bond was stronger when they were at their weakest: in water. The river that day was calm, no ripples, no sudden movements, just the pitter-patter of the rain hitting it.
"I'm beyond grateful that I met someone that I consider a brother and a fan that was like a sister. Dabi and Karma will never be forgotten. Someone with enough power to cremate himself and a girl with the blade skills to aim right to the millimeter. I've learned so much from them both, I will never get over that my time with them ended short. Karma walked into my life as fiery as Dabi and I welcomed her with open arms. She was a fan actually, little did she know I soon became a fan of hers. I would always make fun of both of them, claiming the love they both had for each other was gross. Here in my hand, I hold the blade that Karma Kaori gave to me as a gift for one mission. With the power of her spirit and her blade, we will get revenge for those who deserve it. Their sacrifices will not be unnoticed." - Himiko Toga
"There lies the body of Touya "Dabi" Todoroki and Karma Kaori. Two great villains in the league that will be very missed. I would hate to admit that Dabi was an essential part of the league, he was like a brother to me. Although we fought a lot, that's what I loved about him. He always tested and pushed the limits until they broke. Without him, villains will never be the same. The trauma that man went through that he describes was worth it is something I might never get. Everything was worth it when he finally met Karma Kaori again. Childhood best friends to lovers. When Dabi left to join us, one day, this firecracker of a UA student joined the LOV. I made the mistake of almost killing her, I am beyond grateful that Dabi didn't let me. She was clever, smart and strong. We fought a lot at first and we were just starting to become like brother and sister until she sacrificed herself for us to not get caught. That bastard Enji may be gone, however, the scars he left on our heart will never be forgotten and will never be forgiven. We will get revenge on the hero society." - Tomura Shigaraki
Shigaraki bent down to touch the two bodies until... "Wait!" Everyone looked back to see a young boy. "I have something to say, please?" he asked Shigaraki. Shigaraki looked back at Toga and they both ended up letting this young boy speak before seeing two bodies descenagrate before his eyes.
"I thought I would never admit this but I killed Enji Todoroki. I hate to also admit that I'm his son. I'm Touya's brother, Shoto. My brother was never here for my life really, I now understand why. If I could take everything back, I would, but I know that won't change anything. Karma always warned me about the hero society and I understand now. I'm here to announce that I am no longer a UA student, I am no longer working for the hero society. In honor of my brother and "sister" dying, I would like to join the League of Villains. This isn't what they wanted me to do, however, it's what they deserve. So, from two previous hero society trainers to another, I will help get revenge for my family." - Shoto Todoroki
Shigaraki started disintegrating the bodies as they started flying up into the sky where they belong. Everyone cried, it was rare for villains to cry. As the last bit of ash rose to the sky, Shigaraki looked at the young Todoroki.
"Half and Half, you're in."
The first thing you will ever learn in hero class: your job is to prioritize everyone's life before your own. In this world, there are lives that are worth the sacrifice just to uphold the reputation society clasped onto one name. Villains. The difference between heroes and villains is society. So tell me, who is the so-called "villain" in this story?
