"Sarah!" called Jason. "What now?" I asked. Jason and I made a business. I made anything I could and sold it. We were already rich. Jason actually made my mansion real. It floated above the lab. I was finally free from the castes. I sent a flying car to the car makers, who knows what they thought. "Sarah, you're invited to a masquerade party the mayor of this town and three other towns are hosting. Almost everyone is going to be there!" Jason exclaimed, "It's going to be awesome with a capital a!" I saw his excitement. "Do you know how to dance?" I asked. That's one thing I didn't think about when I made him. "You bet," he replied, smiling. That's something I'm glad I added. He always smiles. What a great smile it was too.
Crash! I jumped. A black figure appeared in front of the broken window. Jason looked at him. "Who are you?" Jason asked. "A man here to take the invention!" the man said. An evil laugh filled the lab. "You're not going to get away with this," Jason said calmly. The man ran towards us, pulling out a knife. Jason ducked and kicked the man in the leg. The man fell over. Jason got up, then the man. The man started backing up. I saw a piece of paper slip out of his pocket. The man finally ran out through the window. I got the paper. I unfolded it. It was a map of the place where the masquerade party was going to be. There were lines with exit number one, two, three, four written next to them. There were dots with bomb one and two written on them, and lines that were labeled with walk in ways that will impress her. It was a crazy looking map. We were determined to figure it out.
We didn't fully understand it until we found another piece of paper taped to the map. It was a list of people who were going to attend. My name was circled and Jason's was too. This guy didn't like us. Then I realized. This must be a plan to impress someone by ending us. The person must not like us. Jason started writing notes on what we discovered. I drew the man. My sketchbook was almost full. I decided to look through it. My very first drawing in it was there. It was supposed to be me, but it didn't look like it. It was a girl with long black hair, tall, and a skinny body. It wasn't colored. I drew a fairy and added a Ponyo fish looking thing on it too. I used to love Ponyo. Jason saw me. "You have always been good," he said, "I can barely draw." "I will teach you then," I said. And we did just that.
It took two hole hours to teach him how to draw well. He loved drawing animals, cars, and food. Why, I don't know. Jason decided to try to make his drawing of a chocolate cake real. He did it, but it tasted awful. Even he didn't like it. He claimed it was the worst thing he ever tasted. I told him it wasn't the worst. He didn't believe me. "It's okay it admit you thought it was awful," he said. "I've tasted worse," I told him. Jason rolled his eyes and went over to the map. And we studied it.
