New discovery. The map showed us exactly who the man was. His name was written in the bottom corner. It was the mayor's brother, Jonathan Reed. We were almost sure he wanted to be mayor. He was the man in charge of Rake Cars, the biggest business around here. A car business. Everyone loved him. He's the one who donated a lot of money towards the animal shelter. Why did he want to be mayor? Who was he trying to impress? A lot of questions filled the air. I started drawing. I drew Jonathan and a girl. I drew the girl with a question mark on her. Jason watched. Suddenly, the shadows started moving again. "Jason, do you see that?" I whispered. He nodded. "Is it you?" he asked. "No," I whispered. He looked at the broken window and we looked at each other and went under the table.

We were sure. We were sure it was a criminal. The shadows started moving together. A figure seemed to rise out of them. It seemed like the powers I gave my writing teacher. "Wait," I whispered to Jason, "Where's the page of my sketchbook you came from. This person might be from it?" "On the desk," Jason whispered back. The figure started to become clearer. "Can you sound like a snake?" I whispered. "Yeah. Why?" Jason replied. "Just do it," I said to him. He sounded like a mad snake. The figure about jumped to the ceiling. I knew who it was. It was Mrs. Annabeth, my writing teacher. She must of gotten the powers when Jason was made. I crawled away from the table. "Mrs. Annabeth?" I asked. She became full human. "Oh. Hi Sarah," she replied. I knew it was her.

It just got weirder. Mrs. Annabeth says she's been invited to the party too, but her rich neighbors haven't. There must be a reason. I wanted to figure it out too. The Mayor must have a plan. Maybe it was to destroy his brother or something. We had to figure it out. "Sarah, I have an idea," Jason said. "What?" I asked. "You can draw us tools that can help us protect the party," Jason said, "Then, we can find the mayor and his brother and find out what in the world is going on." "Not very detailed," I responded, "but it might work." "I'll help," Mrs. Annabeth said, "I'm going to the party, so I might as well help." "We need even more help though," Jason said, "I'm sure I know who can help."

And that was that. Jason decided to get Eleanor to help us. Along with his friend Dan. This was going to get interesting. Fast. As soon as they heard about the plan, they were both willing to help. They rushed over to the lab too. "Sarah!" Eleanor exclaimed. Dan came in behind her. "How are you doing?" Eleanor asked. "Good. You?" I replied. "Same," Eleanor replied. "So, let get designing!" Dan exclaimed, "I want a Pokemon and Bakugan!" "What?" I asked. "What in the universe is that?" Eleanor added. "I'll explain," Dan said, "Sarah will draw it too." We all looked at each other. How old was Dan?

So, a Pokemon is a creature with super powers (or something like that!) and a Bakugan is a creature with super powers that can become a ball(or something similar!). Dan had me draw a Pikachu and a Tigrerra. He also had me draw him a Mario car that could shrink and grow large. We all thought this was crazy and to make it worse, he was going to wear a yellow tuxedo. I drew Eleanor a blue dress that let her have the ability of water. I drew mine with fire powers, and Jason got a black tuxedo that gave him super athletic abilities. This was going to be cool and crazy.
