We got home and everybody greeted us. "How are you?" they all asked, "Did you get the mirror?" We answered and left for the dragons. We went to one that was fighting a police officer. The police was cornered and the dragon would probably burn him. "Stop!" Jason and I yelled. The dragon looked at us. "What?" he asked. Jason held out the pearl. "Is this what you want?" Jason asked. The dragon turned into a man. He slowly took it. The pearl lit up and he started to disappear. A smile was on his face. "Thank you," he said. I saw all the dragons disappearing. Jason looked relieved. "Our curses are lifted," he said.
I smiled and started to take my gloves off. But something was wrong. The curse was still there. "That should of worked!" cried Jason. Pain hit me really hard again. I started to cry as I fell to my hands and knees. "This is her end," said the mayor walking up. Jason got on his knees and hugged me, holding me on my knees. "Let's end this happily," he said. His lips got closer to mine and then it happened. We kissed. I felt my pain melt away. When we broke apart I saw my hands were normal. "You broke the curse!" I exclaimed, "The mirror was right, the curse was broken by true love! You're my hero." I hugged him. "Thank you," I whispered. "But...but...how?" stammered the mayor, "How?"
None of us knew the real answer. I had no intention of answering it anyway. Jason answered though. "Sir, every curse can be broken," Jason said, "You just have to be determined to break it." We stood up. The whole town surrounded us. The news people had cameras rolling and everybody was taking photos. "What do you have to say about these events?" asked the news people. "I think they're crazy, but it taught valuable lessons," I replied. "She's right," Jason said. "What do you think the mayor's punishment should be?" asked the news people, "He did almost kill you after all." I looked at Jason who looked at me. "Well I think he needs some years in jail," Jason said.
After the rest of the news report, Dan, Eleanor, Olivia, Jonathan, Brea, and Mrs. Annabeth came up to us. "Are you okay?" they asked. "Yeah," Jason said. Pikachu was on Dan's shoulder. "I thought your poke-something and Bakugan were going to stay a secret," I said. "Pikachu escaped and everyone saw him so he can stay out," Dan said. I raised an eyebrow at him. "Who did you have a crush on Jonathan?" Jason asked, "You had the map marked up with routes to impress her." "Well I had a crush on this woman who was pretty, kind, and loving," Jonathan said. "What's her name?' Jason asked. Jonathan turned red. "Do I have to say?" he asked. "Yep," Jason replied. "Her name is Willa," Jonathan said. "That's my mother's name," Dan said. "It is your mother," Jonathan said. "So you might be my dad?" Dan asked. Jonathan nodded.
A celebration was required for stopping the dragons and the whole town was going to help. "Let's do this!" Dan yelled. And the party was started. "Here's your happy ending," Jason said, dancing. "You've got that right," I said. Jason took my hands. "And they lived happily ever after," he said.
The End.
