The girl was being chased. I knew why too. She was half dragon. She had two horns and was screaming fire. She also had two dragon wings. The man had a net and was trying to catch her. I didn't think it would work. The girl started screaming louder. She was about three, but she was fast! I ran to the lab door. I opened it and the girl ran to me and hugged my leg. "Help," she said. Mrs. Annabeth came out. The man came up to us. "I'll take her," he said. Mrs. Annabeth picked her up. "It's okay," she whispered to the girl. "We'll take her," I said. "Be careful," he said, "She might of been the cause of the fire."
The words hung in the air. Could she do that? The girl fell asleep in Mrs. Annabeth's arms. The man relaxed a bit. "Listen," he said, "I don't think she's alone. New people are moving in. I think the dragons are among us." He pretty much said he thought the dragons are coming, and that they might cause something bad. Very bad. Dan and Jason came out. "What's going on?" they asked. Mrs. Annabeth showed them the girl. "Do you know her name?" Dan asked. "Her name is Brea," said the man, "She told me when I asked her if she was lost." "What did she say exactly?" Jason asked. "Brea no lost," said the man. Another set of screams rose up with smoke. Oh no.
People started running. The fire was getting big. We all went inside. The lab was fire proof. We sat in the big room of the lab. The man looked around. "This place is beautiful," he said. "Thanks," Jason said, "I got to design it." The room started to get hot. Brea's fire was causing the heat. The man watched her. "I think I know what's going on," he said, "As I said earlier, the dragons are going to invade our world. They're from another world." Suddenly, police and fire truck sirens roared even louder. "Evacuate!" screamed a voice. Brea woke up and stopped breathing fire. "They come for me," she said, "Me dragon girl." "No, they came for the dragon people who are trying to take over," the man said, "Not you." "What you name?" Brea asked. "Mr. Izman," the man replied. Brea started to fall asleep again. Jason ran over to the computer for a minute and came back. "I put the bomb protection on," he said. And just in time. Bombs going off filed the air and dragons roared.
And they roared. It seemed like a war would break out. A. War. A real one. Who knew?
