Ophelia's mother chose a simple cake for their ceremony at the bakers.

Ophelia's mother lay her wedding dress bag gently down in the back of her car.

Ophelia's mother brought a bunch of roses and carnations for Ophelia's room. The wedding flowers.

Ophelia spent the day following her mother around, trying to seem more excited than she felt.

The entire time she was in Castle Rock she looked left and right and everywhere she could, hoping to catch a glimpse of Eyeball, hell she'd settle for any of the cobras right now.

Yet she saw none.

Occasionally she'd see someone walking towards her with their hood up and her mind went to any of them but as they past her she saw it wasn't them.

They were gone.

Life in Castle Rock looked like it continued without any problems, like they were never there.

Like they'd never been there.

"Ophelia dear is everything okay?"

Ophelia snapped from her daydream as she looked up at her mother. Looking around she saw she was sat in the dress shop as her mother was trying to find a dress and hat she liked. Nodding quickly she stood up.

"Do you mind if I go take a quick walk? I need some air."

Her mother was confused but nodded.

"Course sweetie, don't be long. Still have lots to do and we're meeting Xavier for lunch in a moment too."

Ophelia nodded as she slowly left the store and took a few steps out.

Taking a deep breath and a second to compose herself, she quickly walked out into the road as she felt two hands grab her waist and yank her backwards.

She looked up as a car raced past. Her head spun around as she saw the traditional Eyeball smirk.

"You.." Her words came out in a whisper.

"You're welcome." He mumbled from his hood and hat.

Before she could say anything her mother came flying out the store. Practically leaping into her daughters arms she held on tight as Eyeball stumbled back, being pulled away from her.

"Oh my dear Lord Ophelia are you okay?! You should watch where you're going! I can't believe that! My dear child!" She fussed as she held Ophelia's face in her hands.

Eyeball grinned slightly, watching the discomfort on Ophelia's face was ever so slightly amusing to him.

Yet before he could register what was happening he suddenly felt Ophelia's mums arms wrap around him and yank him closer into a tight hug.

"Oh God I'm so thankful to you! You saved my daughter! Oh thank you so much!" She fussed over him as Eyeball was too in shock to say anything.

Ophelia couldn't help herself but smirk at Eyeball, seeing the pure shocked state he was in.

"My God how can I ever repay you?! Oh you'll come to lunch! You have to come have lunch with us! Her fiancée will so want to meet you! Oh you're such a hero!" She squealed as she pulled away and held Eyeball's arms in a tight grip.

"Oh no no no there's no need for that!" Eyeball tried saying as he realised the last thing he wanted was to go have lunch with Xavier, the man currently hunting him down like a dog.

"Yeah mother I don't think that's necessary." Ophelia quickly tried adding as she tried to pry her mother's grip off Eyeball.

Her mother whacked her hand away and shook her head. "Nonsense, you're coming for lunch. It's honestly the least we could do! You saved my daughters life and I know my future son-in-law will want to thank you too!"
