My Hero Eyeball Chambers

We are friends.

Ophelia couldn't stop her heartbeat rising as she felt her hands rest on his arms. His fingers gently tugging at the silk dress.

Just as she felt his forehead press against hers she quickly snapped herself back into reality. What was she doing?!

Yanking herself away from him almost at the same time as he yanked himself back.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry!"

Both their comments came at the same time.

"I didn't mean to do that, I shouldn't have-" he began spluttering out.

She quickly held her hands up. "No don't worry it's okay! It's okay! Nothing happened! We're good!" She managed to blurt out, like she was trying to convince herself.

She locked eyes with him as they both stared at each other. Yet he couldn't help himself again. He quickly rushed over to her and grabbed her face in his hands but before he could kiss her the curtain was pulled open and Ace's head appeared.

Eyeball quickly let her face go and faced his leader.

"We gotta go, Charlie's outside." He mumbled.

Eyeball nodded as Ace looked Ophelia up and down.

"Thats definitely the one love." He said nodding at her.

She nodded slowly in response as she turned to look up at Eyeball, who was slowly looking down at her, guilt and desperation was written all over his face.

"Now." Ace mumbled again.

Eyeball quickly nodded and gave her one final look as he allowed Ace to lead him outside. Ophelia gently shut the curtain and turned to face herself in the mirror.

Raising her hands to her cheeks she felt guilt for what had almost happened, had she really wanted to kiss Richard? Would she actually have done it?

She slowly looked down at the dress as she heard a quiet voice from outside.

"Is everything okay miss?" The lady from before spoke up.

Ophelia nodded then stopped realising she couldn't see her.

"Yes everything's fine. I think this is the one. But I might need help getting it undone."

"Would you like a hand as Ey- Richard and John have gone?"

Ophelia hadn't noticed the slip up the lady had almost made, her mind too busy with thoughts of Richard and what she'd almost done.

"Yes please?" She quickly mumbled out as the lady came in.

She helped her undo the dress as Ophelia climbed out and quickly changed back into her own dress.

Walking back out to the main desk the lady was writing out the reservations and paperwork for the dress.

"I'll have my fiancée come in and sort payment today or tomorrow." Ophelia offered up.

The lady nodded as she filed the sheets away and Ophelia headed out quickly. Looking up and down she saw the streets of Castle Rock and Richard and John were nowhere to be seen.

She sighed and began slowly walking along. Just as she turned a corner she almost bumped into 4 younger boys. 2 of them being Chris and Gordie. Another had brown messy hair and big glasses and the other had shorter hair than Chris.

"Oh I'm so sorry!" She quickly blurred out.

They all smiled and shook their heads.

"No no it's okay." Chris quickly blabbed out. "Are you okay?" He asked.
