Hugo: And here, we arrive at the kingdom of the stars, Neserdnia.
(Speakers play a loud boom)
Varian: What was that?
Yong: (raises hands) I swear it wasn't me.
Varian: We're not blaming you.
Hugo: Just because you blew up my tent the first night doesn't mean I think it was you.
Varian: And just because the last of my ham went missing doesn't mean I blame you at all.
Hugo: Hey, now. Don't need to go pointing fingers-
Yong: Guys! Focus!
(Nuru and two guards enter the stage)
Nuru: (to guards) Make sure everyone is ok.
Varian: Hey, excuse me. Do you know what just happened?
Nuru: Travelers. That was a meteor. It happens often. You're not from around here.
Hugo: You mean to tell me rocks falling from the sky is a normal thing?
Nuru: Yes.
Yong: Well, it's the kingdom of the stars.
Varian: Is there any way that we can help?
Nuru: No, the guards have it handled and are trained professionals.
Varian: Am I allowed to see how bad it is?
Nuru: You mean, like, look at documents?
Varian: Yeah.
Nuru: You're a stranger. Why would we hand you classified documents?
Varian: Oh! No, I thought they were for the public eye.
Nuru: (laughs) I'm Nuru, the youngest princess of Neserdnia.
Varian: (Accepts handshake) Varian.
Yong: I'm Yong! His assistant! He's the Royal Alchemist of Corona.
Nuru: A royal alchemist? You must be pretty good then...
Yong: Yeah! And if anyone could help you with the meteors, it's him!
Varian: Wait, hang on, I-
Hugo: (cuts in and bows) I am Hugo the Human, by the way, princess.
Nuru: (deadpans) I know. You have enough wanted posters scattered.
Varian: He's with us, but I can't say I trust him yet. But he's on our journey with us.
Nuru: To where? What's a royal alchemist doing out here with a kid and a wanted thief? (She crosses her arms)
Yong: We're completing the seven trials to find the Forbidden Library!
Varian: Yong!
Nuru: (doubtfully) Forbidden Library?
Hugo: It's the Eternal Library.
Yong: A place where all knowledge is kept!
Varian: Well, not all, but yes. There are many books written by Demanitus. At least by what my mother wrote. If there was anything that could help you with the meteors, the Eternal Library would have it.
Nuru: (thoughtfully) Come with me.
Hugo: Where to?
Nuru: To meet my oldest sister.
Varian: The queen?
Nuru: She'll be interested in what you have to say.
(They walk across the stage to where the Queen and two guards enter)
Queen: Nuru, who are they?
Nuru: This is Varian and his friends. He's the Royal Alchemist of Corona. He says he might know of a place that can help us with the meteors.
Queen: Nuru...
Nuru: It's a place called the Eternal Library with almost unlimited knowing written by Demanitus-
Queen: Nuru.
Nuru: What?
Queen: (Sets a hand on her sister's shoulder) Nuru, you are kind person and I know that you just want to help. But do you hear yourself? No more crazy ideas.
Nuru: But if there is a chance to help our kingdom, shouldn't we take it?
Queen: (Sighs) No, Nuru. Not this time. (To Varian) I'm sorry for your time. (Turns and leaves with guards.
Yong: If we learn anything, we'll bring it back.
Varian: You can come with us.
Nuru: And leave my home? You heard my sister. You should probably leave.
Varian: But-
Hugo: She told us to leave, Goggles. Let's go. (Takes Varian and Yong off stage)
*Music Starts*
(Nuru stands in the spotlight, looking sad)
Nuru: There's no room for your mistakes
No time to chase your fantasies
I'm bound and chained to your stakes
I know I'm not some prodigy

Nuru: I can't sit back and watch my kingdom suffer. I have to do this! (Runs off stage)
(Varian, Yong and Hugo enter the stage)
Hugo: Goggles, could you go any slower?
Varian: Shut up. I'm waiting.
Hugo: For what? Your braincells? You left them way too far behind. They're gone for good.
(Nuru enters stage)
Varian: No, I'm waiting for one... Two... Three."
Nuru: Hey, wait for me! I'm coming too.
Hugo: You can't be serious-
Varian: Shut up, Hugo. You're not in charge here. (To Nuru) Welcome to the team.
