I got home around 3 in the afternoon to find liv knocked out on the couch and a bunch of noise upstairs. I kissed her forehead and let her sleep knowing that if I did wake her up there would be hell to pay. I followed the noise upstairs to our room and saw Trey and nyx putting a rocking chair together. "Daddy!"Nyx ran into my arms. "Wassup man. Whats going on."I kissed his head. "I'm helping uncle Trey make a chair for the babies."he smiled. "Oh yeah your doing a good job. Thank you."I said. "No problem man. How is everything?"Trey asked. "You know."I sighed putting my luggage in the closet. "She been sleep for a minute?"I asked. "Yeah maybe like 4 hours. She was sleep when I got here nyx let me in."Trey laughed. "Damn i know this pregnancy is kicking her ass. Imma go pick up something for dinner what y'all want?"I asked. "I'm good for real I'm taking nyx with me for a couple of day to give y'all some space."Trey nodded. "I appreciate that man."i nodded. I went back downstairs and sat next to Liv. I gently shook her to ask what she wanted for dinner. "Hi baby."she smiled. "Wassup love sorry to wake you."i kissed her lips. "It's okay. How was your flight?"she sat up. "Long. I couldn't wait to see you."I smiled. "I bet. Have you heard anything about the baby?"she hesitated to ask. "Last I heard she's still in labor."I blew out. "Oh ok.I'm hungry."she stretched.

"I hear you. I'm about to go grab something to eat."I followed her to the kitchen. "I want in and out."she looked through the fridge. "You really finna make me wait in the drive thru."I laughed. "You know it."she smiled. "I'll be back."I grabbed my keys and left.
LIV POV After jalen left I sliced some apples with peanut butter to snack on because I was honestly starving. I tried to clean up as best as I can because finally I'd get some quality alone time with jalen since Trey is taking nyx for a minute. After I finished cleaning i took a shower in one of the downstairs bedrooms. The stairs are too much for me right now. I put on something comfortable and waited for him to get back. "Mommy we're leaving."Nyx ran in the room. "Okay listen to your uncle. I'll see you in a couple days."I kissed his head. "Drive safe and thank you again."I hugged Trey. "Don't mention it."he said before leaving.
After about an hour goes by jalen is back with the food. "Was the line that bad?"I laughed. "Man I don't want to talk about it. I got you a strawberry milkshake with chocolate. I don't know what your craving right now."he handed me the food. "It's perfect thank you baby."I kissed him. He looked at me for a long time and sighed. "I missed you for real girl."he grabbed my chin. "I know I missed you more. So have you heard anything."it was killing me to know if the baby was born or not. Either way I've mentally prepared myself to the best of my ability. "Yeah."he got undressed. "So what's going on?" asked. "They sent me a email with the result i wanted to open it with you."he unlocked his phone. My heart started racing i was scared for the both of us. Jalen was calm though, his finger hovered over the email and he looked up at me. I kissed him to let him know I'm here for him, "no matter what happens we'll figure it out."I said before he clicked it.
Dear Mr. Jalen Brooks this email is regarding your paternity status. There is a 99.9% chance that you are NOT biologically related to The child in question if you have any questions please reach out via email. "See. AINT no way I got her pregnant."he jumped up with joy. "Now she can be out of my life for good."he smiled. I was in shock because she really had me believing that that was his kid. I honestly felt bad. "Congratulations baby."I smiled. "Maaaan now i can really get my shit together. I just had a feeling i knew that there was no way I was going out like that."he laughed. He couldn't control himself he was running all over the room. "Okay okay settle down. Let's get back to us." I smiled. "Yea come here girl. You want me to induce you now?"he attacked me with kisses. "As much as I want you to you know we can't even be on that."i laughed. He rubbed my belly and fed me as we watched a movie.
