"Nyx you need to come downstairs, daddy's on his way to come get you."I called through the house. "Mommy I can't find my shoes."he whined sitting on the couch. "Look by the door baby."I said doing some last minute packing for him. As I helped Nyx with his shoe the door bell rang. "Daddy!"Nyx jumped up and ran to Jalen. "Wassup my man."jalen picked him up and looked at me. "Hi."I smiled meeting them at the door. "Hey, you look good."he nodded at me. "Thanks. You too."I smiled at him. "Nyx baby go get your bags and we'll walk you outside."I said as he ran back into the house. "He's coming down with a little cold so give him the purple medicine at night and the orange one in the morning I wrote it on the bottles. Please call me if something happens. Um He still wears pull-ups at night he's gonna argue with you about it so don't give in oh and get his haircut please."I informed until Nyx came back. "I got him liv I know how to take care of him. Ready to go man."jalen smiled down at him. "I'm just letting you know."I laughed.
We got outside to jalens new Mercedes taking me completely by shock. "Ooooh Ok so you ballin like this now."I laughed looking at his car. "Had to treat myself."he laughed. "That's good."I smiled genuinely happy for him. "So what have you been up too?"I asked. "A little modeling here and there football you know same ole shit,what about you."he nodded. "Working on a few projects, keeping busy you know me."I shrugged rubbing nyxs hair. "Don't work yourself to death liv take some time for yourself."he said. "Awww So you do still care about me."I teased. "I'll always care about you Olivia."he said getting serious. I gave him a small smile, "Alright y'all better get going, come here baby."I said to Nyx.
"I love you sweetie be good for daddy and make sure you call me ok."I said kissing him."Ok mommy I love you."He cheesed up at me melting my heart. "Bye jalen y'all drive safe."I waved them off going back inside.
I looked around the house covered in toys and most of nyxs stuffs. I let out a sigh and straighten up a little by picking up all his toys and doing laundry. Jalen has Nyx this week but I'm letting him keep him longer than usual so instead of Nyx coming home Sunday night I'll pick him up net Friday because Jalen is taking him to Miami. Even tho jalen and I ended everything on bad terms we go it together for Nyx and decided that we'd be cordial. Of course it wasn't easy especially after I dropped my album called What about us, basically our relationship story from the beginning too it's end, and I didn't want to make Jalen out to be the bad guy but I was hurt and mad so I did it any way. Yes it's hard seeing Jalen every other week because I do miss him very much but I think it's best for us. Over these past 4 years I haven't really been dating I mean I've been out with a few people but nothing serious. Really I've just been focusing on myself and Nyx trying to give him the best life possible. ———————————-
After I cleaned the house I laid out on the couch trying to figure out what the hell I was about to do this week without Nyx. I got dressed in something comfortable and went down to MetLife.
"What are you doing here?"My dad asked bringing me into a hug. "Jalen just came to get Nyx and I don't have any events until Friday so I'm chillin."I shrugged. "Mmhm. How is my boy?"he lit up. Nyx and my dads bond is the cutest thing ever. "He's great. He starts football next week."I informed. "What day?"he asked taking his helmet off. "Wednesday at 4."I said. "I'll be there."he nodded. "Beckham we're about to scrimmage get back out here!"his new coach said. My dad mocked him and rolled his eyes, "I'll see you at the house."he ran back to the field.
As I stood on the sidelines watching the offensive team and defensive team play against eachother, I kept making eye contact with one of the players across the field. He wasn't bad looking at all so I smiled at him and waved him over.

"You're new."I smiled at him. "Yea."he laughed. "I see you around here a lot."He said. "Yea. Just so my son can watching my dad play."I nodded. "You're O's daughter?"He asked a little taken back. "Is that a problem?"I smirked. "Nah. It's just like I respect him so I wouldn't go after his daughter."he shrugged. "So if he wasn't my dad I'd be fair game?"I smiled. "Yo chill he blushed rubbing his hands down his face."What?"I laughed. "What you on tonight?"he asked. "I don't have any plans."I said. "I'm going to the club tonight you down or are you with your son tonight?"He asked. "I'm free but I'm not really a club person."I shrugged . "Oh well maybe we can go get dinner sometime then or lunch?"He asked. "I'll think about it."I smiled knowing damn well i was gonna let him take me out. "Ight ma. I'll hit you up later then."he ran back out to the field. A few hours later I went over to my parents house to see lai because I haven't seen her all week. "Hello???? I'm home."I yelled through the house. "Hey liv."lai came around the corner. "No type of enthusiasm. I see how it is."I laughed folding my arms. "Where's Nyx?"she asked sitting at the island in the kitchen. "With Jalen. They're going to Miami in the morning."i said grabbing a water bottle. "How's school?"I asked her. She rolled her eyes and laughed. "It's so annoying but I'm doing good in my class."she said playing on her phone. "You got a little boyfriend yet."I teased. "mmmmmm maybe. I mean I like him but I don't know."she laughed kind of blushing. "Ooop whats his name?"I said giving her all of my attention. "Khalil."she gushed. "Awww well invite him to your birthday party."I suggested. "I did." She shrugged. "Ok well there you go. Shoot your shot."I acted as if I was shooting a basketball. As we continued to catch up our mom came downstairs. "When did you get here?"she hugged me. "Like 20 minutes ago."I said. "How's my baby."she squealed over Nyx. I showed her a picture of him that Jalen sent me earlier.

"He so grown for no reason."she laughed looking at the picture. "Right, I miss him so much all ready."I whined. "Hey liv can you pick me up from school tomorrow?"lai asked. "I actually have a date.
