I looked up at the stars. The evening had already come. We have been walking for hours. Suddenly Luna stopped.
"We need to be careful at night. You never know what lurks in the dark." She said
"Like witches from the Witch Council?" I asked.
"Yes. But also demons, lurking-spirits, furies and bogeymen for example." She calmly replied. My face turned as white as snow. I started looking around even more.
"Why are there so many evil creatures!?" I asked. She shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know. It's just how it is."Crack. We heard a branch break behind us. I grabbed my sword and Luna's hands lit up with fire. We slowly walked towards the sound. Ready to attack, we walked towards a figure. The person turned around. A girl. Luna's hands stopped burning and she ran to the girl and hugged her. I was stunned.
"Oh by Merlins beard! Priscilla! I missed you!" Luna said. 'Priscilla' hugged her back.
"Oh Luna! Thank the stars you are safe." I looked at the girl. She had a strange appearance. She had pink hair, a dark purple witch hat and dress, light blue eyes hiding under her bangs and a band-aid on her nose. She looked at me and turned back to Luna again.
"Who's he?" She whispered. Luna took my hand and dragged me closer towards Priscilla.
"Say who you are." She said.
"I'm Rohan. Rohan Hill." I stuck out my hand. Priscilla looked at it and she happily shook it.
"I'm Priscilla Moon! Happy to meet you." She had a huge, warming smile on her face. Luna explained all that had happened this day. Priscilla nodded. Then we went from two to three in the fight against the Witch Council. We were walking through thick mud when we heard a terrifying roar. Luna and Priscilla looked towards the sound. Another roar. Closer this time. We could see fire moving through the woods. Like a person was on fire. It turned its face towards us. With another loud roar it ran towards us. We didn't even run away! We just got ready to fight. Luna's hands looked like they were made of fire. Priscilla had drawn her wand. And I took my sword. I wasn't sure how much damage that would do, but I thought I'd just give it a shot. The fire demon got closer and closer. It stopped right in front of us. It's eyes were glowing red. It roared again. We were literally blown away by it's breath. Now it started to attack. It threw fireballs at us. We dodged them, leaving the trees on fire.
"What do witches and demons have with fireballs!?" I said with an annoyed voice. Luna threw a ball of water at the demon and it let out a high pinched, heartbreaking scream. A bit of it's fire on it's back was out. His skin looked like it was dried up lava. Luna more threw water balls at the demon. Why can't I do that I thought.
I raised my sword and ran towards the demon. I cut it's leg of and slid underneath the ginormous creature. It screamed again and hopped on one leg. Suddenly, I started to float. My hands were creating one huge water ball. I didn't know what was happening. Somehow I made the water ball burst above the demon and it fell to the ground and turned to ashes.I safely landed on the ground. I felt so shocked. The girls were looking at me like they had seen a ghost. Not that I looked any different.
"Rohan... what did you just do?" Priscilla asked. I looked at my hands.
"I-I don't know." I looked back at the girls.
"Your eyes were also glowing. They glowed blue." Luna added. That didn't really relax me. I shook my head.
"Let's continue." I started walking and the young witches followed me, whispering to one another. We were walking on a long, but narrow bridge over a swamp. It had this awful smell.
"Those damn bugs." I said. I waved my hand to chase the flies away, when suddenly a fire bolt flew out of my hand, setting a tree on fire. The fire soon went out. I looked at my hand once again. The witches looked at me.
"First water, now fire." Luna mumbled. I ignored it and kept on walking. We still had a long journey ahead of us and we didn't know what to expect. All we know was that it would be dangerous.
