BANG! Gunshot. We saw the bullet fly from one side of the cabin, to the other. Leon pulled Priscilla away from the bullet's path. Priscilla fell right in his arms. We heard horses whinnying and whips cracking. The door looked like it would break. The Ghost Riders had found their targets for this Wild Hunt. Us.

The cabin shook with every beat it got. I was terrified. I had no idea what to do. I was looking for a way out,  but the little hut only had one way out: the door. I looked down at the ground. This was going to be my end. At least, I thought it was. I saw, underneath the floor, a space. It looked like it could be a tunnel.
"Guys? Look!" I said, pointing at the floor. The others looked down and saw the same as me.
"A room! Wait, it kind of looks like a tunnel." Priscilla said.
"Yes! Okay grab your wands and start breaking the floor!" I said. I grabbed my sword and used the handle to break the floor.

A few minutes passed. We finally had a hole big enough for us to fit in. Luna jumped first. Than Priscilla. Than Leon. And than me. I fell in the dark room and landed hard on my back. I grunted in pain. Luna helped me up. My eyes finally got used to the darkness. We were in this dark, dugout room. Luna light up her hands with fire to see in the darkness. We all could see that my suspicion was right: the room had a tunnel attached to it. I was ready to walk into it when Leon stopped me. He looked at me with a serious look.
"Wait. We have to make sure that this tunnel is safe. Luna, if you can?" Leon said. Luna nodded and threw her fireball into the dark tunnel. At the end it hit the wall. No sound. Nothing had made a sound or got hit.  It was safe. I walked into the tunnel and the others followed. I saw the dim light of Luna's fire behind me.

After a while, we reached a small staircase. I walked up the stairs. There was a little door covering the stairs. I pushed. The door  flew open. I slowly stuck my head outside the hole. The Ghost Riders were still busy hitting the cabin. I signed to my friends that we could quietly leave. We slowly walked up the stairs, into the fresh air. We walked towards the trees, when Leon stepped on a branch. Crack. The Ghost Riders turned around and made this awful, high scream.
"Run!" I grabbed Luna's hand and started running. We heard horses ride behind us. When I turned around I saw that the Ghost Riders were closing in. I stopped and turned around.
"Rohan! Come! What are you doing!?" Leon said.
"Go! I can handle them. Just go! Run!" I said. I closed my eyes and opened my hands. I could see a light forming. So bright I could see it through my closed eyes. I opened my eyes again. I started throwing fireballs at the Riders. One of the Ghost Riders tried to attack me with his whip but I grabbed it and pulled him of his horse. Another one tried to shoot me, but I caught the bullet and threw it back at him. He disappeared in dust.
"ROHAN! PLEASE COME!" I heard Luna's desperate voice. But I kept going.

A loud screech is what saved me. I was getting tired and my powers were going nuts. I fell to the ground. I was exhausted. Luna ran towards me and caught me right in time. She stroked me through my hair. My eyes closed. When I opened them again, we where in this wooden cabin. It had a nice fireplace, a handmade, wooden kitchen, a few hammocks, a comfortable bed- I was laying in that bed- and a small table with four chairs. I looked at the concerned faces of my friends. I had no idea where we were.
"Are you okay?" Priscilla asked. I nodded.
"Yes. But confused. Where are we?" I said. Leon looked at me.
"We were walking through the forest when we saw this little house." He said. All of a sudden, the door flew open and a figure appeared at the door. The silhouette got closer, into the light.
"Rohan, meet Aeryn Crestvale." Leon pointed at the silhouette. The figure had been covered in the light of the fire: A girl with brown, long, hair, a damaged, white shirt, a pair of dirty pants, a green cloak and brown eyes. She had a bag with weapons in it. She looked me up and down. Then, she smiled at me. She got closer and stuck out her hand.
"Nice to meet you Rohan. I've heard great things." I shook her hand.
"May I ask you something, Aeryn?" I asked. She nodded.
"Are you magical aswell?" Aeryn looked at me.
"Yes. I'm a Changeling."
