I opened my eyes and grabbed my head. I looked around. I didn't know what happened. I saw Luna sitting up and Aeryn was just waking up. I rushed toward Virsorrith and Ixeor. Luckily, they were fine as well. I quickly stood up and looked around, when a spell suddenly aimed for Luna. I created a magical wind that blew it away. The others got up as well and got ready for battle.
All of a sudden, Witch Council members came charging at us while firing strong spells. We all fought back heavily. I jumped up high into the sky and landed with my fist on the ground, making some of my enemies fall down. I saw Ixeor casting powerful spells at the Council members. I heard Virsorrith roaring and I saw white fire blasting next to me. I took advantage of that and used it to take out some more Council members. I turned around to see Luna and Aeryn fighting side by side. I think we had an advantage, but more witches kept coming. I felt some strong hand around my neck, nearly choking me. I used my Water to blast him away. The witch landed with his head on a rock. He died. But I didn't feel sorry for one second.
I heard a familiar chuckle.
"Haha. Oh Rohan. I see you took control of your magic." The voice said. I started burning with rage as I angrily turned around. I looked right into his blue eyes.
"Leon... What a surprise you're here to. I expected that you'd chicken out." I said, smirking at him. His face turned from smug to angry. He grabbed his wand and fired a spell at me. I created a fire shield and the spell dissolved in the fire. Leon looked a little shocked, but he was determined to kill me. But, that feeling was mutual. I saw the face he made when he betrayed us in my mind. He fired another spell at me but I dodged it and shot a fireball at him. I now understood why magical beings loved fireballs so much. I shot one fireball at the other and Leon fired one spell after the other, when he suddenly hit me. I fell to the ground and grabbed my stomach in pain. I felt the dirt fall over me. I saw Leon getting closer, grinning at me.
"Well well well, the Saviour down on the ground. I will have such pleasure killing you, Rohan." Leon said.
"Any last words?" He asked. I looked him right into his eyes.
"Yes." I said.
"I am no Saviour." With that I raised my hand to create a wind, powerful enough to blast him over. He quickly stood up and we got into a fight again. I blasted him against a tree. He had his hand on his stomach. When he saw me get closer, he tried to crawl back in fear. I smirked at him.
"Well, well, well, the traitor on the ground. I will have such pleasure killing you, Leon." I said, using his words.
"You won't get away with this, Rohan." Leon said.
"Are you sure, Leon? Because it looks like I already did." With that, I created one last fireball and blared it at him. He screamed in pain, before he died."Rohan." A voice said. I turned around. I walked back and almost tripped on a branch. People were still fighting around me. The man looked at me with a smile.
"You have grown so much. I have missed you. The last time is saw you, you were just an eleven year old boy. Now look at you." I was to stunned to speak. I just looked the the man with the pale skin, green eyes and black hair. Just like me.
"D-dad?" I said, after a while. The man smiled at me.
"Yes." He said. I wanted to run to him and hug him, until I saw that he was wearing the Witch Council robes. I stepped back and I looked at him, shocked.
"You are a part of the Witch Council?" I hesitantly asked. He was still smiling at me.
"Yes, but we are the good guys. Oh, Rohan, I never knew you were so powerful." He said.
"Don't change the subject. They aren't the good guys. They want to kill Luna." I said. My dad sighed.
"I see she has already made her way in to your mind. She is manipulating you. She twisted your mind so you would obey her. I see is succeeding. But, my son, it is not to late. Come with me and we can put an end to this war." He stuck out his hand for me. I was thinking about what he said and I wanted to grab his hand so bad.
"Benjamin, what are you doing!? Kill him!" I heard someone yell in the distance.
"He is my son!" My father yelled back. He looked at me again, still with his hand stuck out to me. I got closer. I stopped.
"No..." I said. My father looked shocked.
"What? Haven't you missed me?" He asked, a bit disappointed.
"I have, a lot even, but you are wrong. You are a part of the villains. A part of the bad guys. You want to destroy Luna because she is to powerful for your liking. You and the Council only care about yourself, not about the witch community. Luna is the kindest, sweetest, bravest and smartest person I have ever met. She would never betray anyone. She isn't the evil monster you make her seem." I angrily said. My father dropped his act and lost his temper.
"Listen here boy, you are my son! You are destined to join the Council. Like I did, and my father and his father! Our family has been in the Council for many generations. And I am not letting you break this tradition for some foolish girl!" He said. He raised his wand to hit me, when he got knocked over by an other spell. It was Luna. She came rushing towards me. She looked at my father and then at me.
"Is that-?" She asked. I nodded.
"Unfortunately." I replied. The others joined me as well. It looked like my father was the only one left.
"Well go on. Kill me." My father said, chuckling. I turned around. Luna out her hand on my shoulder.
"I get it if you want to let him live." She said.
"No... he will create a new Council and he will come after us. But I cannot kill him. He is my father." I said. I looked at Luna. I hesitantly looked around and back at her.
"Can you do it?" I asked. She look surprised I asked her this. She waited for while before she answered.
"Sure." She said. She walked back to my father. I was still turned away from my father. I heard Luna mumble some words and I saw a flash of light. I couldn't help but break down in tears. My legs got weak and I sat on my knees. I looked up at the sky and screamed. Luna ran towards me and gave me a big hug.
"It's okay. It's okay." She said. I knew. Of course I knew.
