My head hurt like crazy. I opened my eyes and got blinded by the sun. I saw Aeryn's face above mine. I heard Luna sobbing. I immediately sat up straight. I remembered what happened. The fight. Leon's betrayal. Priscilla. Priscilla! I stood up and ran towards Priscilla. I looked at Luna.
"Is she-?" I asked
"Yes. S-she's dead." Luna said crying. I hugged her.
"Priscilla was an amazing person. She'll be missed." I felt broken. In the little time I had known Priscilla, she had became very dear to me. She had became a good friend of mine. But her life had to be cut short by that... traitor.
"I was right." I whispered. Luna looked at me.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked.
"I tried to! But every time, something came up. But... how could you believe me? Leon fooled us all. But he fooled Priscilla the most. He made her believe he was in love with her! And that I didn't trust him made me feel bad towards Priscilla! I didn't want to hurt her feelings. Now I see I should've done that instead of hiding my true thoughts."
Luna looked at me with her teary eyes. She hugged me tight. Aeryn came closer to us. She had been scanning the area for more possible threat. She joined the hug.We all stood there, in the middle of no where, open for all danger. We didn't know what to do now. We had to keep moving, obviously, but.. we couldn't. We couldn't leave Priscilla there to rot.
"We should bury her." I said, breaking the silence. Aeryn and Luna looked at me. Luna nodded sadly. Aeryn started digging as I started to pick some flowers with Luna. When we came back, Aeryn had made a grave for Priscilla. Luna put the flowers in her hands as I lifted her in her grave. We poured the dirt back in the grave. Aeryn grabbed something that looked like a gravestone. I grabbed a piece of charcoal and wrote her name on the gravestone. One by one, we kissed on of our hands and put it on the stone.Luna was heartbroken. I had to lift her up to take her away from Priscilla's grave. When i put her down on the ground, she flew me in my arms, bursting out in tears. I couldn't comfort her, no matter how hard I tried. When she stopped crying, she let go of me. She looked at me and then at Aeryn. She sighed.
"W-we should keep going." She said, still sobbing. I stroke her hair.
"Okay. Let's go." I said. I signed to Aeryn to come. We left the open space of the woods. We all kept quiet for a while. We just lost and buried a friend. We had nothing to say. I just couldn't understand. Priscilla was one of the kindest and sweetest people I had ever met. She had done nothing wrong. Still that damn Leon decided to kill her, while she showed him her love. I'll get him. I'll take revenge for what he did.
