I looked confused. I had no idea what a 'Changeling' was. It looked like Aeryn understood my look.
"A Changeling is a Fae-child, put in the place of a human child that the faeries stole." I nodded understanding.
Luna was -still- patting my forehead with a wet rag. I carefully took her hand and put it on her lap. I smiled at her.
"It's okay Luna. Thank you." Luna smiled back and dropped the rag into a bucket with water. I sat up straight in the bed. Priscilla handed me a bowl of soup. Apparently Aeryn made me soup. How kind. I slowly took a sip. I felt my face turning green as I spat out the soup.
"What is this!?" I said. Aeryn laughed.
"It's a potion-soup. It'll make you feel better. But it is disgusting."
"Oh really? I hadn't notice the fact that it's awful! That wasn't the reason why I spat it out!" I irritatedly said. Aeryn just laughed more. She pushed the soup back in my hand.
"Eat. You'll feel better." She said as she walked out of the door. I felt the eyes of my friends look at me as I hesitantly ate the soup. I felt even worse with every bite I took of the soup.Aeryn came back inside. She was carrying something. It was something-or someone- with long, black hair hanging before it's face, with a hood on it's head. Aeryn held a tall spear in her other hand. My eyes widened of shock. She has carrying a dead Ghost Rider. I pushed the blankets off of me and ran towards the Ghost Rider. I sat down before it, checking it's skull face.
"Did you kill that thing, Aeryn?" I asked. She laughed at me and shook her head.
"No silly! You did!"I looked back at the dead creature in disbelieve. I had killed that thing? I looked at the others.
"H-how did I do that?" I asked. Aeryn looked at the others.
"Does he know anything about magic?" Leon, Priscilla and Luna shook their heads.
"No. He just found all of this out." Priscilla replied, patting my head like I was a little kid. I stood up and paced around the room.
"How did I kill it? Ghost Riders are un-killable!" I said.
"Apparently not. You threw a fire ball at one of the Riders and it got launched against a tree. Somehow, that killed it." Leon explained. I stopped pacing.
"So you're telling me that I simply shot a fire ball at one, it launched against a tree and died!?" I said. Leon nodded.
"Yup. That's all that happened, mate." I felt my legs got weak. I stumbled and fell to the ground. My friends ran towards me and helped me back on the bed. Aeryn looked at me with a serious look.
"Did you eat your soup?" She asked. I nodded.
"Go to sleep. You need to gain your strength." Luna said. I laid down, covered myself in the blankets and fell asleep.
