I THROW THE DRESS ON THE SIDE AND GET ME SHORTS AND CROP TOP.
I've never been happier to feel shorts on my legs. "How was it?" asks John b.

I've been back at the chateau for days. I won't stay long because JJ will be back any minute. "You must be really glad you weren't there" I sigh.

John b laughs. "was it that bad?" "Yes!" JJ comes up the porch. I immediately get up and give John b a hug. "You don't have to leave when I come," says JJ.

"It doesn't matter JJ" I say a little uncomfortably. "I still have other things to do" I smile at him.

"I'll see you later John b" I wave to him and walk down the porch. Sarah and I agreed to buy furniture for the house.

Sarah parked her car in front of her house. I walk into the Cameron house. Sarah is sitting at the kitchen island.

"Hey" I say to Sarah. Suddenly I hear screaming. "It's Dad and Rafe" is the first thing she says.

" what is going on?" I ask her. "Rafe is angry that Dad has embarrassed you so much" she shrugs.

"Your father said Rafe and I are engaged" Sarah laughs. "Did he really say that?" I nod my head laughing. " then I understand that he is angry"

We hear a door being slammed shut and Rafe comes running angry. He wants to walk out but I resist. "not so fast big boy" Rafe doesn't look at me.

"Hey" I grab his chin, "Calm down it's okay" I say with a smile. He calms down a bit. "I'm going to the country club with the boys," he says irritated.

He gives me a quick kiss and walks away. "shall we go too?" asks Sarah. I nod. Sarah and I walk towards her car.

"Maybe Rafe will buy a car for you" she says with a laugh. I get into Sarah's car. "I don't need a car" I say laughing.

"Do you have your driver's license?" "Yes, I can drive well" I say with a laugh. " but I just find walking much more fun.

We arrive at the furniture store. "okay what style are we going for?" Sarah asks. "some kind of retro sleek?" I close the car door. "with a lot of wood"

We walk through the furniture store. Sarah is like a little kid in a candy store. She is completely excited that she can pick out furniture.

Sarah is, of course, a Cameron. She has managed to ensure that the furniture can be taken along in a kind of removal bus today.

We've picked a lot so far. Sarah sits in a random chair. "So when are you and Rafe going to get married?" Sarah laughs. I'm still looking around the store.

I shrug. "he gave me his ring a year ago, as a promise that we'll get married someday" "so you're engaged, right?" I look at her strangely.

"No we're not engaged yet" I say with a laugh. I look at a wicker chair. "this one is nice too" Sarah writes it down.

" noted" we continue to other furniture. I think we already have everything but Sarah wants a few more laps just to be sure.

"I don't understand how you manage to have the furniture delivered today" I look at her with disbelief. "duh I'm a cameron" she says with a laugh.

We hand over the receipt with all furniture at the cash register. "I'll pay june" Sarah takes her bank card. "No, I pay" I quickly pin the amount.

"The furniture will be at your house in half an hour" says the woman behind the cash register. She hands me the receipt. "Thank you" I smile.

Sarah and I walk to the car. "Shall I call Rafe that they have to help" I take my phone out of my back pocket.

My phone rings once and Rafe answers right away. Sarah smiles softly. "protected boyfriend"

" hey june what's up"

" Sarah and I Picked out furniture and they're coming in half an hour. Could you help"

" yes of course me and top are on the way"

" okay see you soon"

I hang up. "topper and rafe come to help" I say to Sarah.

Sarah parks the car in front of the house. "Have you seen it at all?" I ask her. "No," she says gruffly. "tada" I open the door.

"Wow it is really beautiful" she looks around. The paint on the wall has also dried really well.

"Hello" we hear someone yell. "Hey" I see Rafe and Topper. Rafe still seems annoyed so I just leave him alone.

The moving bus arrives. "You don't have to do anything" says topper sweet. "What a service" Sarah says with a laugh.

Rafe takes off his shirt. Every time I'm just amazed at how good he looks. "So you can see it" Rafe says bluntly. "sorry to look at my own boyfriend" I raise my hands.

"Someone is cranky" Sarah rolls her eyes. "Yes, leave him, he will recover" I shrug my shoulders. "that you are so relaxed with it?" "he has been worse"

We watch Rafe and Topper lift the furniture inside. "Did you buy the whole store empty?" Rafe whines. "be glad your girlfriend is doing it, you were sitting with your ass in the country club" Sarah yells back at him.

He rolls his eyes and drags the last items inside. Topper knocks out his hands. "Everything is inside," he says with a smile.

Rafe walks out sweaty. "will you take cranky boy again?" I ask top. "Firstly I'm standing next to you and secondly it's my house too" he says irritated.

"Behave a little then" I say bluntly. I walk in. I peel off the plastic from most of the furniture irritated.

"Sorry okay?" Rafe is suddenly behind me. "I understand that you are angry with your father, but why does that have to be aimed at me" I stand with my back to him and remove more plastic from the furniture

Rafe gently grabs my waist. He turns me around. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I aimed it at you" "It's all right" I give him a weak smile.

"you chose beautiful things" rafe still hold me and smile sweetly at me. "Ugh I can't stay mad at you either" Rafe's smile gets bigger.

"Okay everything is fine, now June and I continue"
Sarah pulls her brother away. " yes nice with topper we will make it and otherwise we'll call"

"I'm going already" he raises his hands. "one more little thing" he runs back to me and gives me a kiss. "Now I can go"

Sarah rolls her eyes. "Guys what are you doing with it" I start to laugh.
