She sat up on the bed, breaking through the dark haze. Her demon was silent, no contact. He'd hidden in the farthest part of her body. She screamed with anger. She stormed through the darkness. Pounding her fists against the door.Pain rattled her arm. She screamed louder. Cursing, damning them. Her captors. She heard voices. Woman's voices. Screams of fear. They were shrill and frightened.

She could tell they came from the other room. She silenced pressing her ear to the wall. Knocking softly. There was a knock back and she jumped away quickly.

"Who the fuck is that?"

A tiny woman's voice came back to her through the wall suddenly.

"I belong to Kenneth, Who do you belong to."

"Wol- Fuck! Myself! Fuck them all.

She heard chuckles.

"Why would you want to leave this place. It's safe. Everyone is so nice."

"They must have you drugged or you're just a fucking idiot."

She tsked softly. "Such language."

Mackenzie shook her head, violently banging against the wall. Her head came into contact with a concrete wall. Her head stung and throbbed but she took the pain as something to focus on.

She heard a sharp excited gasp from the woman.

"Someone's coming!"

She just shook her head, rolling her eyes. 'stupid bitch'. She heard a lock being jiggled around. Suddenly her door was slowly opened. Afternoon light lite the room but she bolted for the doors. Another set of arms encircled her. They weren't as strong but in her state. She had no power.

"Shhhhh calm down it's just me." The voice whispered in her ear. She twisted in his grip to face him. A gasp escaped her lips. Lucas was her captor. Only his lip was busted, Dried blood covered his forehead. A bruise formed under his left eye. He smiled weakly at her.

"What do you want?" She barked. He laughed.

"You're all bite and bark arn't you?"

She ripped away from him growling.

"Yea,"

"Look what he did to you." He sounded sad

She scoffed "Look at yourself" He smiled.

She frowned leaning up to touch the new collar. She winced, making him jump. Concern filled his gaze, tugging at her heart.

Then she remembered. He'd freed her. For what?

"Why did you free me?"

He looked at her seriously now. All his muscles tensed.

"Revenge." He whispered.

"Wolfe has control only because he's a fucking angel dick. But he can't control everything. Plus this."

He pointed to his face. She tried not to laugh. God she was so evil.

"At least he didn't kill you."

He just nodded thoughtfully. A smile brightened his face.

"He will now. Since I let you go. I don't know why he choose you. Yes your beautiful but Damn your hard to handle."

She smiled proudly. She quickly leaned up and kissed him on the cheek. Brushing her hand in his.

"Thank you," She whispered. Then quickly pushed him into the room. Locking the door as he fell to the ground.

"I'm sorry,"

Then she was gone, Running down the hall. She felt something wet run down her neck. Probably blood. It didn't matter. She made her way through empty streets of their abandoned city. She was looking to destroy. So she made her way to the gate. She looked around making sure no one was around, then pried the iron gates open. She hoped the creatures would hear the rusted groans of the gates and come running.

That wouldn't be enough. The gas supply would make a great conductor for her flames of hell!! She looked around wondering were she should look first. She was wasting her escape time but her blood lust controlled her. She suddenly remembered something about the gas. Lucas had said something about it.

Where the fuck was it? She cursed herself for not paying attention. She retraced her steps. Following the ally ways. She started to smell the gas fumes. She followed her nose. Finding herself at an old gas station.

how could she be so stupid? Really, this was beyond obvious. She walked cautiously to the tanks. She'd have to pry the metal from her skin some how to create a spark. Or use the fat ass drunk standing across the street staring at her.

She was loosing her edge at detecting people. She shook it off putting on a smile. She could take this guy.

She waved winking at him. He smiled, the alcohol hitting her hard. He smelt of pure liquor making her stomach lurch forward. She kept her smile, Signalling him closer. He came slowly at first. Then realizing there was a woman came much faster.

She regretted this immediately. It was none other then Adam. Fuck her life.

He smiled, slurring something she didn't understand.

"Hey there baby," She purred softly, Coming close to wrap her arms around his fat neck. She nearly gagged as he set his hands on her hips leaning toward her neck.

"HeY SeXy! I fucking knew you'd be back for my cock."

She laughed, The rest of her body rebelling. What a sick joke.

She leaned close to his ear whispering as sexy as she could.

"Got a light daddy? I need a smoke."

He laughed squeezing her ass. She had the urge to rip his throat out. With her teeth. She just giggled. He started to reach into his back poke, rumbling for something. He came up with her ticket out. A silver zippo. She smiled taking it. But he pulled her tighter. She tried to wiggle from his grip but he was stronger than her still. This piece of shit collar was starting to piss her off. He kissed her neck roughly trying to feel her up.

A sudden scream ripped through the camp. The creatures had gotten in. An alarm was going off. He let her go quickly.

"Fuck he must have found out. I'm so fucking dead." he rasped out drunkingly. She rolled her eyes laughing. She kicked the tanks over letting them spill out every where.

"Good bye dip shit," She said as she flicked open the lighter throwing it to the fumes of gas. His eyes widen then everything turned red. Orange flames consumed everything. A massive explosion covered half the camp while the other was being mauled by beasts. She saw his light then and knew it was her cew to run. She took off away from the burnt crisp that was Adam once. A smile covered her face. She missed the destruction, the blood, the pain. It thrilled her.

She also missed Eden. They finally paid. They would all die. She ran toward the back fence. Climbing over quickly Assassin Creed style. She flipped at the top landing on her feet at the bottom. She was free. She ran into the woods behind the city. Under the safety and cover of the trees. She was running out of breathe. Of strength. She needed shelter. Sleep that wasn't caused by head trauma. she stopped running to a speed walk. Mackenzie must have been miles away from the disaster. She hoped at least.

There was movement in the trees. She smiled thinking of the birds. The a rattling hiss sounded. Definitely not a fucking bird. She ducked under a tree watching. She glances to find the tail of one of those things in the tree.

Fucking in the tree! They couldn't climb! Unless... they were evolving. She paniced staying perfectly still. She caught the blood red eyes staring at her through the branches. Night had set quickly again. She was alone. Defenseless. Weak and in the dark. That's when it attacked.
