Aiden awoke with a gasp as his nightmares clutched him. He sat up and frowned. No pain.
Looked to find himself in a wooden shed. Light seeped through the cracks in the dried, rotting wood.
Carefully he stood up and shaking on his own feet walked outside. Pushing the door opened he suddenly was enveloped by the smell of smoke. It filled his lungs and made him cough roughly. He looked around and found himself in the middle of the woods.
It seemed to be around midday, the sun the highest in the sky.
He stumbled around. He had no weapons and he wasn't sure if his powers worked or not.
The trees where to thick to see through and when he turned around he found the source of the smoke. From behind the shack  a billow of smoke rose high into the air, thick and black.
He also smelt a sweet perfume.
It invaded all his senses and made him think to where he'd last been. What had happened.
"Kenzie," he breathed out, stumbling around the shack . To his dismay and shock all he found was a cloaked figure.
It turned slowly. When it faced him he still couldn't see a face.
"Who are you?" He demanded, standing firmly, though he was still too weak. He hadn't realized until he glanced down he was completely naked. This wouldn't have bothered him before, but in front of this intimidating creature he now turned away still keeping an eye on it.
"I am your savior"
A voice suddenly hissed in his mind. It was a woman's voice. That was all he could tell of it. It send shivers down his body, and he seemed to relax. His whole body giving to the sound of this woman's voice.
"What are you?" His voice was taken, leaving only the calming whisper.
"I am your savior"
He looked at her puzzled and stepped back.
"Let me see your face? Please?" He asked. She shook her head.
"Where am I?"
"In the woods,"
"You don't say," he growled.
"Please don't speak to me that way, I've been protecting you."
"How? What are you? Don't say my savior again either I got that part,"
"I am demon. My master told me I was not allowed to speak with you but I had to."
"Why?"
"Because, Aciel Wolfe, I am your destined. I was the reason you were cast from heaven. I am your true love. Your other half is a demon."
"You're lying," he growled stepping toward her, she stumbled back away from here. As if she feared him. She pulled the cloak tighter around herself. She refused to reveal her face to him. Lousy no good demon.
"Why did you save me? Tell me the truth. Demons never do anything good, especially for angels!"
"But you are not an angel anymore, just fallen, with no wings and a broken halo you kept around your neck. Though you've seemed to have misplaced it?"
"Sold it,"
"Ah, I see. Survival of the fittest. I saved you because it was my duty Aciel."
"Demons don't have duties, don't be so foolish," he growled in frustration.
"Why am I even wasting my time, I need to find .....I need to find my men!"
"I thought the princess killed them all, except one."
"Yea...wait...how do you?...one?"
"Yes, one, he escaped the hotel you're men converted to a human zoo."
"Oh...."
"I have to warn you, the princess is destined to kill you,"
"Must you always lie?"
"I tell no falsehoods to you, why would I?"
" I know Mackenzie, I can see your soul, I've touched it. Until you. You have none. You're a twisted human soul, tortured and torn. Ugly on the inside and out." He sneered and turned walking away.
He walked north from the camp, hoping the demon wouldn't stop him.
After 6 miles of woods he eventually found the highway. To his surprise, she'd decided to hold him captive directly by the bunker. The tunes carved into the concrete and ground still where he had placed them long ago, stronger then ever. It explained why no demon beasts where around, he didn't hear the sickening scrape of metal.
He felt her presence. His princess....
He smiled to himself and looked down at his naked body. Scars riddled over his chest.
The rest of the markings were still in tacked. Included the long black mark that curved up from his hips over his stomach stopping with pointed ends just below his chest.
He strode into the bunker. He was proud of his nudity in front of Mackenzie. He was sure she'd blush. Cutely blush. She'd turn a shade of red and look away muttering a threat of some kind.
What he found in his room in the bunker however was not what he expected.
