Chapter 26

Hinata made Kageyama a bowl of Miso before sitting down on the couch. He figured that Kageyama was taking them somewhere tomorrow. Kageyama sat beside him then took a sip of his food. "Hm. Who taught you how to cook?" Kageyama asked, enjoying the food. Hinata could tell he liked his cooking then smiled. "I taught myself haha! What are we doing tomorrow?" Hinata asked Kageyama. "Well, word got out that I had an omega and child so we have to go to an interview tomorrow. While we're there people will be moving things out your house. You can talk to them before we leave." Hinata nodded, then bit his lip. He really had missed Kageyama. He leaned his head on his shoulder and Kageyama let out pheromones. He could sense that Hinata needed it.

"Thanks. Can I ask you something?" Hinata asked. Kageyama nodded as he gulped down Hinata's food. The omega waited until Kageyama was done, he giggled and blushed. "Do you want more?" Hinata said, grabbing his bowl. Kageyama cleared his throat after burping then shook his head. "You do have to save food for Kichirou, I reckon." Hinata nodded, then put the leftovers in the refrigerator. "What was your question?" Kageyama asked the omega. Hinata felt a little bit afraid to ask him this but the two needed to talk about it. "Do you remember anything? Anything at all? I can only remember certain parts, I was just drunk but not that drunk." Hinata mumbled in the question. Kageyama sighed, he was regretting this part. He walked over to the couch and patted the spot next to him. 

"I only remember waking up next to you and leaving, of course I didn't know who you were. I do remember drinking a lot. But I don't remember any of the, I don't remember having sex with you. Do you remember?" Kageyama asked. Hinata felt his eyes begin to water again. "Just some details. I- I'm sorry. I was trying not to cry~" Hinata said, he laughed through the embarrassment and wiped his tears. "Hinata I want you to be honest with me. Do you think I ruined your life?" Kageyama asked. He wanted the omega to be straight up with him. Hinata shook his head, "No... no you didn't know Kageyama. We were both drunk so don't wor-" Kageyama sighed in annoyance. The sigh interrupted Hinata's sentence and the omega looked at him confused.  "I'm not asking for my sake, I'm asking so I know what to do to help you." Kageyama stated.

Hinata hated thinking like this. A lot of his friends thought in a similar way. But even if he hated it, the back of his mind was always skeptical and vengeful. "Y-yes... I hate that I think like that sometimes. If anything the situation is my fault, drinking while I was in heat and I was alone. It's just, I had a chance to become a professional! I- I could've moved out of here and most of my friends wouldn't have left me. I wouldn't have almost killed myself, I wouldn't have to raise him by myself, or lie to people, or get judged everyday. I- I would still have my virginity. I just, ugh I wish I didn't make impulsive decisions sometimes!" Hinata said, letting out all his thoughts in one breath. Kageyama was in shock. Now he really felt like an asshole. He took the omega's virginity. Hinata realized all that he said then got up from the couch. 

"I-I'm sorry-" Hinata said, Kageyama pulled him back to the couch. Hinata covered his face in embarrassment. "Don't be sorry for speaking your mind, stupid. Stop trying to hide that you're upset. That's probably why it got this bad anyways. And this situation is not your fault  so don't blame it on yourself. I'm sorry for causing all these things to happen to you, plus taking your virginity, it was an asshole move to do drunk or not. I want you to know I have much better self-control now Hinata and we're going at your pace." Hinata shoved his face in Kageyama's chest. He hid his smile. When Kageyama didn't get a response, he just rubbed the omega's back. He let out comforting pheromones. The alpha felt at ease hearing the omega starting to purr.
