Chapter 4

Kichirou walked into the living room again to his mom still crying. It wasn't as loud as before but Kichirou was scared to see his mom cry. He couldn't believe he made his mom cry, he felt so bad. Tadashi opened their door and saw everything. He sighed looking at Hinata's state then took away the pillow that Hinata was crying in. "T-tadashi? When did you get here?" Hinata said, getting up and wiping his tears. He cleared his throat then looked at the green-haired male embarrassed. "I already saw you crying Hinata, what's wrong?" Yamaguchi said, sitting beside Hinata. Kichirou sat in his Mom's lap then hugged him. He didn't like it when his mom cried. But he did and it was all Kichirou's fault. He didn't know what to do so he just called his Aunt like his mother said to do.

Hinata hugged his son back then kissed his forehead. "I'm sorry. Today was just a really bad day... Some bird pooped in my hair, I got harassed, I got fired, and now he's suspended from daycare." Hinata sighed, Tadashi would honestly cry too, so he didn't blame Hinata. "Well, since I really work from home now. I can see if my old job can hire you. Since we took the same major and everything you should qualify for everything." Tadashi said, wiping some of Hinata's tears away. Hinata's eyes widened then he laughed. "Really? Thank you Tadashi! But I don't want him going back to that daycare... he said kids are being mean to him." Hinata said while rubbing his hand through Kichirou's hair. Tadashi smiled, he would love to babysit Kichirou again.

Hinata laughed then hummed. Kichirou caught on then pouted. "Mommy... can I go one more time so I can say hi to Miwa one last time." He asked, looking up at Kichirou with puppy dog eyes. Hinata smiled then nodded his head. "When I get back to work, you can go see Miwa one more time, but you need to get her parents' phone number so you guys can have playdates." Hinata said. Kichirou excitedly clapped, then Hinata kissed his forehead. "So about you getting... harassed. What happened? Did someone hurt you?" Tadashi said a bit worried. Hinata put his hands over Kichirou's ears. "No... well he was just staring at me, then he pinned me to a wall, he saw that I was marked then ran off." Hinata said. Tadashi hugged him then looked at him worried.

"It was nothing bad, just pretty scary. Do you mind making him something to eat right quick, I really need to shower." Hinata said, a little embarrassed. Tadashi shook his head then smiled. Hinata took Kichirou off his lap then quickly went to his shower. Maybe his day was getting better. He washed his hair thoroughly. When he got out he smelled pork. He hummed and then went to the kitchen. "Mommy! Mommy! Auntie Tada is cooking Pork Miso!" Kichirou said, waiting for Tadashi to finish cooking. Pork Miso was Kichirou's favorite. Hinata smiled then put a movie on for everyone to watch. "Tadashi, is Kei okay with you staying for dinner?" Hinata asked, as he walked back into the kitchen. Tadashi bit his lip then shrugged his shoulders. "Kei and I are not on speaking terms." 

Tadashi said, making everyone's plate. Hinata gasped then looked at him worried. "What happened?" Tadashi shook his head then glanced at Kichirou who was listening to their conversation. "You'll tell me later right?" Hinata asked, grabbing Kichirou's hand and heading to the living room. Tadashi nodded then followed him with everyone's plates. They ate their Pork Miso while watching the movie Hinata put on. Afterwards, Hinata gave Kichirou a bath. While in the bath Kichirou was quiet. "M-mommy? Are you mad at me?" He asked looking up at Hinata with the most guilty look he's ever seen. "No. Mommy's not mad. Mommy is proud of you for sticking up for yourself and Miwa." Hinata said with a smile. Kichirou bit his lip then nodded. Hinata could tell something was still stuck in Kichirou's mind. 

"What's wrong hunny?" Hinata asked as he washed the soap off of him. "Mommy, why were you crying? Did I make you cry?" Kichirou asked with a sad look. He played with his nails then Hinata sighed. "No you didn't. Mommy just had a bad day, did you know a bird pooped in mommy's hair today?" Hinata said, sighing. Kichirou giggled then playfully stuck his tongue out in disgust. "Eww~ hehehe." Kichirou said, giggling. Hinata kissed his forehead then drained the bath. Kichirou got out then Hinata dried him off. Hinata got him dressed for bed then Kichirou smiled. "Mommy? Can I get a bedtime story?" Kichirou asked, getting settled into bed. Hinata nodded then sat on Kichirou's bed. "Okay... only if you promise to go to bed afterwards." Hinata said. Kichirou grinned then nodded.

"Once upon a time there was a little prince. He got visited by a magic fairy that told him to go into the abandoned castle in the woods. When he got there he saw three big bad wolves hurting his best friend. So he grew the strength of his ancestors and fought off all bad wolves. He saved his best friend, then the two went home to have a great feast of pork miso!" Hinata said in a calm tone. Kichirou's eyelids dropped. Hinata grabbed Kichirou's shark plushie, he put it in Kichirou's eyes then smiled. "You can't forget Fins to join you on your sleep adventures." Hinata said, kissing Kichirou's forehead. The little boy smiled then drifted off to sleep. Hinata walked out his room, closing the door behind him. Tadashi was still on the couch, the dishes were put up and Hinata joined him.
